With the creation of MediaCityUK and The Sharp Project Manchester has the second-largest cluster of creative and media industries in Europe. Manchester is a hub of creative activity and the academy has tapped into the fantastic resources our great city has to offer. A Pupil Concept Made Reality

A brainstorming and research session by Yr9 students developed into the creation of MC&M Academy App. Brought to life by 3 Sheep Digital Development Agency, the App was developed through pupil and staff consultation to create another platform to inform students, staff and the wider MC&M Academy Community of news, updates and essential information. website is designed in the format of an Online Magazine it includes pages on fashion, music, sports and heath, gaming and features news from the Academy. The Online Magazine provides the students with a creative platform that is seen by their peers and gives them experience in journalism, website design and social media skills. The students named the site Beyond MCMA because they wanted to show that there is more to MCMA than what happens within the classroom.
