SPECIFIC MECHANICS SPORTS AND INDOOR GAMES

Basketball 1. All players should be in their proper basketball attire, that is, jersey/team t2. shirt, shorts, socks and rubber shoes. Non- compliance to the prescribed attire will disqualify the participant in playing for their respective team. The game shall consist of four quarters. Each team shall be given 3 minutes to practice, one team per half court. The first two quarters shall be strictly played for girls with an allotted time of 4 minutes respectively. For the remaining quarters, same rules and regulations shall be applied in the game of basketball. Each team may decide for the players either it is all boys or mixed it with the girls. The allotted time is 6 minutes respectively. A player who has been called with a technical foul must rest for 3 minutes automatically. Succeeding technical foul of the same player will be disqualified in the game. Female and male players can have a maximum fouls of three and four respectively. Double elimination shall be applied.

Volleyball 1. All players should be in their proper volleyball attire, that is, jersey/team t2. 3.
4. shirt, shorts, socks and rubber shoes. Non- compliance to the prescribed attire will disqualify the participant in playing for their respective team. Each team shall be given 3 minutes to practice. The game shall be best of three matches, while the championship match would be best of five. Scoring shall apply rally point system. 25 points per set in order to win. Same rules and regulations will be applied as in the game of volleyball. The first two sets shall be played mix, 4 boys and 2 girls respectively. For the remaining sets, each team may decide for the players either it is all boys or mixed it with the girls. Table Tennis 1. All players should be in their proper table tennis attire, that is, jersey/team t-shirt, shorts, socks 2. 3.

GENERAL RULES AND GUIDELINES:

1. All players must be a bona fide members of parish youth ministry. 2. Attendance of all members is a must even if they are not scheduled for
games, especially in the opening ceremonies.

3. Each member shall observe their values toward dealing with their fellows
because showing of non-sportsmanship attitudes (e.g. trash talking) shall have corresponding sanctions (1st offense-verbal warning; except in basketball, 2nd offense-disqualification for the game, 3rd offensedisqualification for the entire sports fest).

4. Default Rule shall be applied in case of non-compliance of players in their

scheduled game. Grace period of 5 minutes is given for every team in every sport they are competing.

5. All KBS must fully accomplish their application form; failure to do so

shall be resulted to disqualification of the entire games.
