AT ORPHANAGE EMMANUEL IN HONDURAS

1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-29

"Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the worlds eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God."

END-OF-YEAR PRAYER NEEDS

Our school year ends mid-November which means more responsibility on our staff members
during the day. Pray for patience and harmony during what can be a hectic and stressful time.

We are temporarily short four staff members which means everyone has to pick up a little
slack. Pray for strength and focus as we flex outside our normal routines.

Some of our older kids tend to get restless as the new year approaches and consider options

outside of Emmanuel. Pray for wisdom and discernment as many seek the next step in life.

STATE-SIDE FOR CHRISTMAS

After spending the last two Christmas seasons at Emmanuel we will be visiting friends and family in Texas this year during the holidays. We look forward to sharing about God's work with you and catching up on everything God has led you through this past year!
