Organization of ITS Asia-Pacific

Background
1996 ITS Asia-Pacific Seminar was held in Japan for the first time and decided to have annual meeting. (except for the year World Congress is held in Asia-Pacific) 1999 Memorandum of Understanding was signed to form ITS Asia-Pacific (reviewed every three yeas) 2010 Major revision of MOU to further strengthen collaboration

Operation
Decision is made by the Board of Directors composed of one representative from each member organization. ITS Japan serves as secretariat. More emphasis put on real collaboration to solve transportation related problems, in addition to regular exchanges of information and networking.
