Problem: No proper orientation to the mothers about family planning methods and the importance of compliance in Barangay 184, Maricaban, Pasay City. Rationale: Increase in knowledge about the family planning program methods will result in always complying to the family planning regimen LAM Objectives a.To ensure that mothers understand the breast-feeding advantages. b. To motivate mothers to comply to lactational amenorrhea method taking into account the magnitude of adherence on its strict regimen. Content A.Information on the effects of breast-feeding on ovulation, its advantages and effectiveness. b. Motivation to mothers in compliance to their orientation and information about breast feeding as a family planning method. Strategy a. A 3 hour seminar will be conducted to enhance the residents knowledge about family planning program, the effect for non compliance, importance of adhering to the regimen. Information drive such as brochures Pamphlets Time a.3 hours preferably on a weekday morning Persons Involved a Mothers: 1. Those under the family planning program 2. ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE PILLS Objectives a. To enhance the knowledge about correct use of oral contraceptive pills. Content a. Oral contraceptive pills its advantages, side effects and contraindications. Strategy 1.A 3 hour seminar will be conducted to enhance the residents knowledge about family planning program, the effect for noncompliance, importance of adhering to the regimen. Time a.3 hours preferably on a weekday morning Persons Involved Mothers: 1. Those under the family planning program 2. Mothers who are not under the family planning program. 3. Barangay health center staff and student nurses from PWU. 4. Guest speaker Number of participants : At least 100 participants
