N OVE M BE R 1 2-19 W AS OP E RA T IO N CH R I S TM AS C H IL D NA T IO N A L CO L LE C T IO N W E E K . Gilead Christian School North Campus is a Relay Center for Samaritans Purse. Over the last 12 years our doors have been open to collect shoe boxes. Volunteers step up to greet the wonderful people that are dropping shoe boxes off. The volunteers help unload the boxes, pray over them, and pack them into the final shipping boxes. On November 19th all the shoe boxes in Central Ohio went to the OCC Collection Center in Brandon, Ohio. After the boxes leave there they will be transported to one of the 7 Processing Centers in the USA. Our boxes will be shipped to Charlotte, North Carolina. There the boxes will go through final inspections and will be covered by lots of prayer before they are shipped overseas. This year GCS north & south campus families were able to send 56 boxes!! GCS, as a Relay Center, collected a total of 799 shoe boxes for the week! This year marks the 100 millionth shoe box that will be delivered since 1993 by Samaritans Purse. Wow!!! God is so good! Just think, 100 million children/families have now heard about Jesus and the love He has for themand its all been done one shoe box at a time.

Thank you to everyone who baked/cooked and donated items to the WFM Soup Supper & Auction. Thank you also to everyone who came and enjoyed the great food and purchased items. Because of your generosity we were able to raise around $2,700 for our missionaries. OUR DAILY BREAD DECEMBER/JANUARY/ FEBRUARY are available in the ministry rack in the foyer.

CHILDRENS Suspendisse CHURCH potenti. Planet Zero is our children's worship time for grades
K-5. The children are usually dismissed to go up to the chapel after the opening musical numbers and greeting time. We enjoy fun worship music of our own, along with lessons, skits and sometimes games and snacks. Parents then pick children up after the worship service is over. - Teachers: Shawn Shipman, Robb & Michelle Webb Stars is a class for children ages 3-PreK. The preschoolers are dropped off in the Stars room next to the nursery at the beginning of worship. We offer lessons, crafts, games and snacks. Children younger than 3 or those not able to handle a story time or working on small projects should be taken to the nursery. - Teachers: Jenni See
