OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO MANAGE ONLINE PROCESS WHERE IN CUSTOMER CAN PAY THE UTILITY BILL THROUGH CASH, CHEQUE OR DD. ONLY ELECTRICITY, WATER & BSNL TELEPHONE BILLS CAN BE PAID THROUGH THIS. USERS OF THE SYSTEM a. ADMINISTRATOR b. OPERATOR/SYSTEM USER c. SUPERVISOR d. CENTER MANAGER e. EXTERNAL AUDITOR (Govt.appt) ONLINE VEHICLE INSURANCE PORTAL Using: ASP.NET Online Motor Insurance Portal is a software portal developed for General Insurance companies to help its customers to help its customers to issue Motor Vehicle insurance via internet. This portal helps people to take Insurance policies for their vehicle without going to Insurance companies and hence it is a very useful commercial application. This portal will be developed with Microsoft Dot Net and ASP as front end development tool and SQL server as back end database. Online Insurance portal captures information about the Insured persons details and the motor vehicle. It also allows the user to select required insurance covers, conditions and clauses. Once this information is keyed in, the portal will calculate the Insurance premium details. On confirmation of the premium details by the Insured person, system save the data and confirmation of the premium details by the Insured person, system save the data and confirm the Insurance policy. System will also allow the user to print his Insurance Policy schedule and related documents. The Insured can also pay the premium through Credit/Debit cards by busing a payment gateway. This system will have the facility to register new users with id and password. The Insured detail includes information such as Insured name, Date of birth, Id number, address, telephone number, Mobile number, email etc. The vehicle details

are information such as Vehicle number, chassis number, Body type, Usage (commercial or private), Number of cylinders, Value of vehicle, body color etc. The Insurance covers are like own damage, Third party liability, Personal accident benefit for driver, Personal accident benefit for passengers, Comprehensive cover etc. People can select the required insurance covers. Each cover will have a premium. In addition to the covers, there are certain conditions and clauses that need to be selected by the insured. Examples are like drunken driving is not covered under insurance. The insurance period also need to be keyed in which is normally one year.

SDLC methodologies: Waterfall model 6. Abstract of the project: This project is aimed at developing an online defect tracking system useful for applications developed in an organization. The Defect Tracking System (DTS) is a web based application that can be accessed throughout the organization. This system can be used for logging defects against an application/module, assigning defects to individuals and tracking the defects to resolution. There are features like email notifications, user maintenance, user access control, report generators etc in this system.

The software is fully integrated with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) as well as CMS (Content Management System) solution and developed in a manner that is easily manageable, time saving and relieving one from manual works.

A: Following tasks can be performed with the application:

User Maintenance: Creating, Granting & Revoking access and deleting users from application. Component Maintenance: Creating a component (application being developed/ enhanced), Granting & Revoking access on components to Users and Marking a component as Active or Closed. Defect Tracking: Creating, Assigning defects to users, Modifying and Closing a defect. A defect screen should at least have following details Defect Id and Title Defect priority Date created Defect description Defect diagnosis Name of originator Status Resolution Report: Generate reports on defects.

CRIME RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The Crime Records Management System applies to Police Stations all across the country and specifically looks into the subject crime prevention, detection, conviction of criminals depending on a highly responsive backbone of Information Management. The efficiency of the Police and the effectiveness with

which it tackles crime depend on what quality of information it can derive from its existing records and how fast it can have access to it.

INSURANCE MANAGEMNT SYSTEM

This project is aimed to developing an online Health Insurance System. An Organization wants to starts Health Insurance against its employee. The Medicare system will maintain all information related to the employee (Patient), maintenances of Claims pertaining to the Insurance companies, information about all sort of medical services providing by the hospital to the corporate employees, claim settlements & adjustments against their services authorizing by the Insurance Companies. Additionally this system can also maintain the health related all information of the employees. The software is fully integrated with CRM (Customer Relationship

Management) as well as CMS (Content Management System) solution and developed in a manner that is easily manageable, time saving and relieving one from manual works. S I had done this project using ASP.NET as front end and SQL Server as back end easing the effort of user.
