Ministries
First Family Christmas for Single Parents - Help remove a huge burden from a single parent by purchasing Christmas gifts for their children. Stop by the First Family Christmas table in the Commons this weekend and pick up a gift request card. You will be blessed by participating, and youll definitely be a blessing to the single parents of FBCN. Mens Ministry - Join our Band of Brothers this Wednesday, December 5 as we study The Gift and Gain of the Holy Spirit taught by Tom Rider at 6:25pm in the Chapel. RefresHer Special Series - Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Worship Center - Books are $10 and are available at the Lighthouse Bookstore. Come hear special speakers Kim Hayes speak on Rahab December 5th, Paula Bulmer talk about Ruth on December 12th, and Shannon Moore speak about Bathsheba on December 19th. Tuesday and Wednesday RefresHer are combined for this special series. These are the stories of unlikely women who changed eternity. Rahab, a woman with a past to whom God gave a future. Ruth, who gave up everything, expecting nothing, and God honored her. Bathsheba, whose beauty stirred the passion of a king, and whose pain moved the heart of God. Mary, who responded in simple obedience to Gods call. Each was faced with extraordinary, even scandalous, challenges. Each woman took great personal risk to fulfill her calling. And each was destined to play a key role in the lineage of Jesus Christ. Single Adult Christmas Dinner Party December 14 at 7-10pm - This exciting evening will be at the Carlton Lakes Clubhouse and will feature a live band, nice dinner, mixer fun, and semi-formal dress.
