Low-Noise Pads
One of the many advantages of electronic drums is total volume control. Roland's award-winning drum pads are not only comfortable to play, theyre also very quiet acoustically so you wont disturb your neighbors. Even the kick and hi-hat trigger pedals were designed with this in mind; they dont touch the floor, which reduces noise and vibration.

Simple Setup, Instant Gratification

Since most of the HD-1s components are mounted on one stand, setting up is fast and easy. Just take it out of the box and play! The innovative design also makes it easy to transport, and offers a clean look no matter where you play.

Easy Operation
With its large backlit buttons and easy-to-read controls, the HD-1s dedicated drum module is simple to use. Just press the Drum Kits Buttons (1 to 5) and you can immediately access five fabulous drum kits. If you press the VARIATION button, you will enjoy a selection of different sounds.
