It involves all the pattern of arrangement with the system they include; politic function, political culture, political socialization and capabilities. Etc This method provides method that are applicable in primitive and non primitive. This approach is often characterize by the used of jargons which are gotten from other disciplines insufficient attainment of theory which had led to continuous argument and disagreement among scholars of what should be right. It disadvantages lies at it critism that it has being too narrow and ignoring that the role of individuals who constitutes and operate the formal as well as the formal as well as the informal structure and sub structures of a political system. That is more knowledge of what they have been and how it came about. This approach has often be criticized as lacking analytical and theoretic touch as it has being to descriptive and narrative and leaving details untouched

THE LEGAL- RATIONAL APPROACH: This approach studies the various power of various branches of government and their relationship particularly as it relate to constitution and legal practices. This is ultimately the theory of separation of power amongst organs of government, telling them what to do as state in a constitution This has been criticize as to be narrow, as it fails to explanation that account in the differences that leads from one conditional change to the other within a period to another PSYCHOLOGICAL APPORAOCH:

This approach mainly focuses on personalities variables and tries to explain important political system attributes in terms of the members in that political system THE MARXIAN APPROACH: This approach focuses more on the theory of Karl Marx. The main feature of this approach is that the state is certain to unavoidable conservancies of class contradiction; that is the oppositions of different class in the society. For Marx the class concept is determined by relation of parts and segment of the society are focused to the means of production .it holds that economic system determine class and structure in a society and any change in the means of production , distribution and exchange leads to change in the class and social relationship in the society In conclusion, the above aspects listed are not essentially superior or preferable: rather each offers in effect the means to obtain answers to different kind of questions that arises in time. The problem of the right approach depends on what one seeks to learn about a political systems and what he wants to compare.
