This online database article contained the whole of Franklin D. Roosevelts Day of Infamy speech. I quoted from this primary source in the text. It is important because it was the speech given by the president asking congress to declare war, which Congress did immediately.

This was an extremely useful secondary source. Not only did it describe the attack in detail, but it also provided many vivid images of the attack, a few of which I used in my website.

This web page did not just contain one primary source, but a whole collection of eyewitness accounts. By reading these passages, I gained access to more personal information than that found in my other sources. I also included a quote from a survivor at I found on this page.

I found this source from the US navy website useful because it was dedicated to the aftermath of the attack, which is crucial to my topic. It provide both text and pictures describing the declaration of war and the actions of the US Military after the raid.

I used this article because it described the reasons why the Japanese were driven to attack Pearl Harbor. It also provided important statistics of the destruction caused by the assault.

This was another article that discussed the reasons for the attack and how the attack played out.

This database entry described in detail how the US helped win the war. This is important to my project because my goal was to tie Pearl Harbor to the wars end. Since the US did most of the important fighting, this article supports my thesis.

This is another source that describes Americas role in the end of the war. This particular article focuses on the war in the Pacific and Americas role there.
