Scoping
The upgrade scoping exercise is a process that is designed to precisely identify the effort which would need to be undertaken, to ensure at minimum a like to like functionality upgrade. In short the upgrade scoping exercise is used to detail all activities and defining all work efforts in term of content, realization and volumes. This results in the actual upgrade being a sized exercise, for which a precise resource involvement can be anticipated and therefore correspondingly planned.
Entry Criteria
The request for upgrade scoping form is completed and sent to the Temenos Upgrade Services team.

T24 Upgrade
This milestone of the upgrade project contains the tasks related to the actual technical upgrade of the bank environment from the current release (either GXX or T24 RXX) to the latest T24 release. The activities within this milestone are by requirement sequential in nature and are usually executed by one resource full time with periodic review by the team lead and the offsite project manager. This milestone is the most important one in the offsite phase and the successful completion of the first post upgrade COB process without local jobs. The locally developed COB jobs are removed from the COB to ensure that the first post upgrade COB is completed and baselined without the influence of local jobs. The stability of this COB cycle would determine the schedule of the subsequent tasks in offsite phase of the project.
Entry Criteria
Completion of the infrastructure milestone activities.
