Procedures 1. Introduce multiplication to students and explain that it is repeated addition. 2. Introduce multiplication definitions to students and have them record in their notebook. 3. Have students watch multiplication rap video on 0s and 1s 4. Explain the zero property of multiplication and tricks for 0s and 1s. 5. Distribute flash cards for the 0s and 1s fact families and have students write their answers on the back. 1. Complete math warm-up independently on class website and discuss. 2. Complete timed multiplication sheet on 0s and 1s and check. 3. Review HW. 4. Introduce 2s and 3s. Have students watch the 2s and 3s multiplication rap video on class website. 5. Distribute flash cards for 2s and 3s fact families and have students write their answers on the back. 6. Have students practice their facts 0-4 if time permits.
