Healing E-Class #17 Light to the World Healing the Earth*

Through the Rays of the Sun Through the Waves of the Air Through the All Pervading Life in Space Purify and Revivify Me and I Pray Heal My Body, Heart and Soul

"Think then that your body is made out of the fabric of the stars. It started to exist in the great outburst of the big bang. The whole past is present in us, and that means that even in our bodiness we are beings of light. And that light has crystallized itself into what we think is matter. It has the faculty of absorbing light from the environment and being transformed by it." Greetings to you during this season of joy and intensity, light and transformation. There are people all over the world who receive this post. Perhaps you are in your home, or in a library or an internet caf- in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, France, New York. We span the globe. This is the last e-class for the year, and we have an opportunity to offer something to our beloved planet and her inhabitants. There is a need in the world today for love and light, for healing and succor, for relief of suffering, for the people, the livings creatures, the ecology, and the life of our dear planet. For the next days, including New Years Eve, lets make an envelope of focus, healing, light and prayer, going around the world. We have done this before and it was helpful. There is a need. Lets do it again. Each day, as individuals or when we meet as groups, lets take some time to remember whispering or saying aloud the names of the groups, individuals, locations, situations, that call to us for light or attention or healing. Here is a suggested format. You can make it suit your nature, as long as it allows the boundlessness of the Divine presence to flow to those who are in need. Remember Pir Vlayats advice when you do this practice each day, given for very intense practices 1 is okay, 3 is enough, 7 is the number not to be exceeded and 9 is too much-

Suggested Format:

1. Say this invocation, sometimes used in healing: (aloud)Toward the One, the Perfection of Love, Harmony and Beauty, the Only Being, (in silence) United with All the Illuminated Souls Who Form the Embodiment of the Master- the Spirit of Guidance. 2. Imagine or feel or experience yourself receiving light/love/life from above/beyond your ordinary life in the world. Take a moment to be grateful that you remember and receive this experience of the Beloved/the Universe/the One/God. 3. Attune to the peace and unity of the whole creation. 4. Imagine or experience or feel that you are willing to be used as a channel of light and love and life and healing a channel from the Divine into Life-in-theworld. Offer your willingness to be a channel of healing for what is needed. 5. Feel/experience/imagine a flow of the Divine healing power coming through you/us. 6. Now turn your attention to those in need, whispering their names or saying them aloud. Say the name (Remember Pir Vlayats advice when you do this practice each day, given for very intense practices 1 is okay, 3 is enough, 7 is the number not to be exceeded and 9 is too much), and then: or feel/imagine/experience just what they need emerging in them-as them, in the form of light (Pir Vilayat) feel/imagine/experience the Divine healing power flowing out to them, offering what they need (Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan)

7. After you say the name/s that come to you, you could offer this prayer:

O Thou, the healer of our bodies, hearts and souls, by Thy mercy may he/she/these be healed, by Thy all-sufficient power of healing.
If there is no situation or group that comes to your mind or heart there is another prayer that you might want to offer as you focus on the earth:

O Thou, the healer of our bodies, hearts and souls, by Thy mercy and by Thy all sufficient power of healing, may all those whose names and needs Thou knowest be healed by Thee.

If you feel it would be helpful, let us know those areas and groups and people you are praying for. Then we can join each other, offering a stream of love and light, flowing from all time zones. With each person praying/focusing, there is an exponential increase in the light and healing force flowing into the world. Remember, you can name those who need healing, those who are doing the work of healing this planet and those upon it, places where there is need of hope, places where there is good work going on.you are free to name any one or any thing which can use the Divine light/love/energy. Tell your friends and encourage them to tell their friends. Share what you are doing on this list. Let's begin... ********************************************************************************
