Call for Women Artists ARTSCAPE: A FUNDRAISER FOR THE NATIONAL GAY AND LESBIAN TASK FORCE DURING

WINTER PARTY FESTIVAL IN MIAMI BEACH March 6-11, 2013. ARTSCAPE WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY MARCH 7, 2013, AND WILL INCLUDE AN ART AUCTION AND LIVE MUSIC. Eligibility: Professional and amateur artists, crafts people, print artists, designers and photographers, are invited to submit entries for this exhibition. All entries must be of original design and personal execution. The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force will not be responsible for any copyright or other infringement. Media: Any 2-D media, all visual disciplines: painting, drawing, prints, craft, photography, made within the previous two years. Size: No piece may be larger than 9 inches x 12 inches or protrude more than 4 inches. Email submission by Friday, February 1, 2013 Selected artists will be notified by February 08, 2013 (space is limited so please apply early). Shipping: Accepted works must arrive by February 15, 2013. Deliver or ship the work to The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, 801 Arthur Godfrey Rd Suite 402, Miami Beach, FL 33140. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs including insurance. Installation-ready: Each accepted entry must be installation-ready, with appropriate hanging hardware and installation instructions, and clearly labeled with artists name and title of the work. The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force retains the right to eliminate pieces from the exhibition at any time, at their discretion. Fundraiser takes place Thursday, March 7, 2013, 7-11pm; tickets are $25 a person. If your artwork is selected for the auction you will receive free entrance to for you and a guest. Photography: The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force may photograph the work for reproduction and use images of submitted artwork to publicize and promote the exhibition, please include proper credits for each artwork. If artwork is not sold during art auction please specify if you would like the artwork returned or donated to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. If you would like the artwork returned you will be contacted after the event to arrange pick-up or shipping costs. The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force is not responsible for any damage to artwork that might occur while in their possession. Artist must be 18 years of age or older at the time of submission

Send a maximum of two high quality digital images of each piece you wish to show (300 dpi, 900 pixels on the longest side in jpeg file format). An overall view in full frame showing the complete work is required.
