Sacrament of the Sick In the event of serious illness or medical emergency, Anointing of the Sick and Eucharist may be arranged by contacting the Parish Office. Call (949) 257-8017 for a medical emergency after 8 p.m. Sacrament of Baptism Parents of infants requesting information about Baptism may contact the Faith Formation Office, 496-6011. Infant Baptisms are celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month following catechesis for parents and godparents of candidates. Celebration of Christian Funerals At the time of death, a family member should contact the parish office, as soon as possible, to arrange the date and time for the Funeral Liturgy. Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Adults requesting information about full initiation and communion with the Roman Catholic Church (the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation) may contact the Faith Formation Office , 4966011. Sacrament of Matrimony The Sacrament presumes active sacramental participation on the part of one or both persons. Couples must begin preparation for their Sacrament at least six months prior to their proposed wedding date. Please call the Parish Office for more information. Eucharistic Adoration On the first and third Monday of each month we gather in prayer and praise before the Blessed Sacrament. Traces of Grace

Dear Fellow Parishioners; "Glory to God in the Highest!" Christmas is upon us! This is just about the shortest 4th week of Advent possible. It will seem as though we just saw each other....which we did! Though it will be a time of back to back Masses with Christmas Eve tomorrow, the liturgies are different, moving from the Advent theme to the Christmas theme. Of course, we will have a few more parishioners and guests than usual joining us on Christmas Eve and Day. (Just a hint, the Christmas Eve Masses tend to be packed as well as the late morning Christmas Day Masses. However, the 7:30am and 9:00am Masses on Christmas Day are fairly light and there will be plenty of seating. Otherwise, you will need to take your chances.) A special thanks to all the various ministers who are spending extra time in church during these days. Our parking attendants, ushers, greeters, lectors, acolytes, Eucharistic ministers, musicians, cantors, environment will all be doing yeomens work. Please give them a friendly nod and a word of thanks for all their extra effort. It is our prayer as your priests that these days of Christmas may be blessed ones for you and your family, filled with a sense of holy gratitude and grace. Por supuesto tendremos ms feligreses acompandonos la noche de Nochebuena y el da de Navidad. (Una sugerencia, las Misas de Nochebuena tienden a estar ms llenas, al igual que las del medio da el da de Navidad. Sin embargo, las Misas de 7:30am y 9:00am el da de Navidad estn ms desocupadas y con ms asientos disponibles. De lo contrario usted tendr que tomarse su tiempo.) The University of Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Daniel Stowe will present a varied program of symphonic music at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, 31522 Camino Capistrano, on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:30 PM as part of their 2013 winter tour of California. The 70-piece groups program will include Beethovens Symphony no. 4 and works by Schubert, Ravel, and Rimsky-Korsakov as well as songs of Notre Dame.
