NORTHERN CEMENT CORPORATION Part 1 Northern Cement Corporation is situated at Sison, Pangasinan.

The company also engaged in exporting its products to India, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, China and other countries in the region. The raw rock types used in cement production are: Limestone, Clay, marl or shale and Other supplementary materials such as sand. Raw materials are extracted from the quarry, then crushed and ground as necessary to provide a fine material for blending. Once the the raw materials are ground fine enough, they are blended in the proportions required to produce clinker of the desired composition. The blended raw materials are stored in a silo before being fed into the kiln. The silo stores several days' supply of material to provide a buffer against any glitches in the supply of raw material from the quarry. Northern Cement Corporation has a power house that is used to supply the needed power to the plant. The corporation have many motor used in refining, blending and crushing the materials needed to create a cement.

Part 2 The corporation should look for more places where in they can found more raw material needed in creating cement since the needed raw material is not infinite resources. Also they should conduct more research regarding their products in order that they will improve their product quality.

SAN ROQUE POWER CORPERATION Part 1 The SRMP has an installed rated capacity of 345 megawatts (MW). It operates primarily as a peaking plant during periods each day when the electrical output of base and inter-mediate load power plants cannot fulfill consumer demand. The SRMP can provide year-round irrigation benefits for 708 square kilometres of farmland downstream of the dam with a partially diversified crop during the dry season, mostly in Pangasinan, but including parts of Nueva Ecija and Tarlac. The SRMP produces a marked attenuation (reduction) in the perennial flooding of the Agno River affecting at least 16 Pangasinan and Tarlac town. The SRMP improves the quality of the water in the Lower Agno River via a proactive integrated watershed management plan (IWMP) and by trapping sediments caused by erosion and by such other sources as small-scale mining.

Part 2 My recommendation is that, San Roque Dam should improve their gate and widen their catching basin since now a days strong typhoons occurs. And through that they can control flood to the nearby area. Also the company should find way to find more power sources to alleviate their power output.
