Announcements Honduras Supplies NeededCarolyn Brown, Susan Curtis, and Myrna Cavender are collecting supplies for their Honduras mission trip later this month. You may place your donations in the designated basket in the narthex through Sunday, January 13. The following items are needed: Construction paper, assorted colors (9x2 or 12x18) Crayola or HEB crayons (other brands melt and break easily or dont color well) Student scissors (no sharp points) White glue4 oz. bottles #2 pencils Ball-point pensblue or black ink Monetary donations are also appreciated! Sign Up for Adult Bible Study Mike Crevir will offer a 6-7 week class beginning the week of February 4, 2013. He will explore what it means to be a disciple of Christ, focusing on the Acts of the Apostles. He will also cover John Wesleys emphasis on social holiness and Mike Slaughters You Can Change the World. Class days and times will be determined by participants. December Generosity Update Berkeley contributed $1478 to the Methodist Mission Home in San Antonio! A matching gift doubles this to $2956. In response to Hurricane Sandy, $705 was received and sent to the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Thank you for your gifts.
