- Drill emphasizes making an explosive 1st step - Place a cone out in front of each line - Coach says: "Ready ---- Go" - Players explode pushing off of their right foot (make sure they also do the drill pushing off of their opposite foot) - Jog to half court
- Drill emphasizes making an explosive 1st step -Once players make an explosive 1st step, they job to the cone, jump stop and make pivot: 1st Trip = Front left pivot 2nd Trip = Front right pivot 3rd Trip = Reverse left pivot 4th Trip = Reverse right pivot - Players will perform all 4 pivots in a row and then the next player will step in
- Players move down the floor with a slight bounce in their knee and foot - As they move down the floor, they do ball rotations around their head, waist
- Players move down the floor while doing high knees - As they move down the floor, they pass ball around their head, under the leg that is currently up (high) and then around the waist
- Players move down the floor while doing butt kicks - As they move down the floor, they alternate dribble with a basketball
- Players move down the floor while doing walking lunges - As they move down the floor, they figure 8 pass the ball through their legs on the lunge step
- Players move down the floor while doing the karaoke step - As they move down the floor (facing their right), they should keep the ball in their left hand as they swing their arms across their body - On the way back, they should put the ball in their right hand
- Players move down the floor while doing quick low skips to the FT line - When they reach the FT line, they perform regular skips to half court

- Players perfom diagonal skips focusing on crossover skip angles - Need to focus on bringing the outside leg across the body as you change direction
- Players move down the floor while doing regular skips - While they skip, they should simulate a low ball rip as they begin to make their skip movement

- Players move down the floor while doing the hurdler movement (over hurdle and under hurdle) - They should alternate low rip while going under the hurdle and high rip while go over the hurdle
- Players make an overhead lob pass - The ball should bounce once - Players make 1 explosive step to catch the ball - Should not have to double step

- 3 person Mikan drill - 4 starts the drill by making a Power Lay-up - 5 comes behind him to pull the ball out of the net
- After 5 grabs the ball out of the net, he makes a Power Lay-up on the right side - 3 comes behind him to pull the ball out of the net - Keep repeating in a 3 man weave rotation Note: you can add other finishing moves such as jump hooks, jump hook face ups, jump hook pivot, jump hook put back
