Crude oil washing initial (COW.I) survey: If engaged in the carriage of crude oil, the vessel shall within one year after the ship was first engaged in crude oil trade, or by end of third voyage carrying crude oil, whichever occurs later, carry out a 'Crude oil washing initial' (COW.I) survey in accordance with item 3.2 of the revised COW specification, ref. IMO Res. A446(XI). The formal request for COW.I shall be sent through Customer Service Manager, to GSCNO861 at least 7 days prior to the survey, with a copy to local DNV station. MO 6 2009-07-02 Machinery Systems

Machinery Planned Maintenance System (PMS): This vessel's machinery is surveyed in accordance with the Rules for Machinery PMS. The crediting of Machinery Items will be based on major overhauls, crediting intervals will vary according to the manufacturers' recommendations, ref. IACS UR Z 20 1.2.1. The maintenance shall be recorded in the vessel's PMS system, and the formal class crediting will be at nearest upcoming annual PMS survey. The formal crediting date will be the annual PMS survey date. The Machinery Items will be recorded without a next survey date (due date). In cases where the Survey Arrangement Machinery PMS is cancelled, the Machinery Items will be given a due date 5 years from the last time they were formally credited (last date). In such cases some of the Machinery Items may become due or overdue, and in order to provide sufficient time to arrange for survey of these Machinery Items, all Machinery Items that are overdue or due within the next 6 months will be set with a new due date 6 months from the date of change. MGGNO894 will delete this MO when the vessel is no longer surveyed in accordance with the Rules for Machinery PMS.
