Mechanism of action-how it works: It reduces the risk of getting pregnant when you are sexually active

Does this promote people not taking accountability for their choices or provide an alternative to someone not wanting to get pregnant? This gives people to take responsibility with their body and yes it does give an alternative to people who dont want to get pregnant. Also, another choice people could pick would be abstinence.

Level 5: How is this similar/different than the abortion pill (RU-486)?

The Plan B pill reduce sthe ovulation and risk with pregnancy and the abortion pill helps you with the ovulation after the process was already done so you wont be having a baby.

What does a schools condom availability program look like? Who gets condoms, where, when and how?

You can always get condoms from your health office and the nurse will give them to you. They are always available.

So the big question is how would condom availability affect the student body? Does it promote unhealthy behavior or are you providing a healthy outlet for those that will do it anywaysif so is it even a schools place to get involved ? I think the school

should be involved because a lot of teens are in need of condoms and have no other way of getting them.

Level 5/Extra Credit/Going Beyond: What does your research say/cite? Do condoms make a difference? Cite at least 1 study and the results. Condoms do make a difference because it is helping teens stay protected from STDs and definitely getting pregnant at such a young age. https://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/journals/3006798.html

This can provide an alternative for someone so they wont have to worry about their child not having a uneducated or unsafe childhood. Also, it shows you that the responsible parents are the ones who put this under consideration. Level 5: How do state laws vary on this?
