Role: Part-time receptionist - First Fortnight Centre for Creative Therapies What's Involved? We are Mental Health Creative Therapy Centre. The receptionist will call and remind our clients of their appointments and meet and greet them at reception, make them a cup of tea etc. Where: Cork Street, Dublin 8.When: 2-3 days a week from 8.30am-3.30pm Role: Victim Support at Court Volunteer - Victim Support at Court What's Involved? Your position within Victim Support at Court is to nurture a safe environment for the victims, witnesses, friends and families affected by crime. Where: Dublin, the Criminal Courts of Justice at Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 and Tallaght District Court. When: 4 hours a week Role: Graphic Designer - Latin American Solidarity Centre What's Involved? LASC are looking for a volunteer graphic designer to design the program for the 14th Irish Latin American film festival which will take place in April. Where From Home or Baggot Street When: Flexible. Project must be printed before 14th April Role: Shop Volunteer - Friends of the Elderly What's Involved? Look after customers and man the till. Where: 25 Bolton Street, Dublin 1 When: One volunteer from 11-2 and another from 2-5 each Wednesday Role: FUNDRAISING OFFICE VOLUNTEER. - Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia What's Involved: *Administration tasks including daily post handling, liaison with European offices and fundraising team *Update the internal work in progress communication weekly *Accounting tasks to help financial reporting and expense handling *Preparation of external pitch material for presentations Where: 32 Nassau Street, Dublin 2. When: 2/3 days per week at the preferred time and days for the volunteer Role: Crime Victims Helpline - Crime Victims Helpline What's Involved: We are currently looking for volunteers to provide telephone support for two to three hours per week, during office hours, at our office in central Dublin. Where: Dublin City When: 3 hours a week for one year Role: NCBI Befriender - National Council For The Blind What's Involved: Going for walks, chatting, socialising. Befriending a blind person Where Terenure, Dublin 6W, Crumlin and Ballyfermot When: 1-3 hours per week for 6 months Role: Admin Assistant GORTA What's Involved: General Administrative work for the Community Fundraising Office : answer to phone calls, send emails, write letters, data entry. Where Dublin 2, 12 Herbert St. When: 3 hours 3 days a week (flexible) Role: Weekend Receptionist - Dublin S.P.C.A What's Involved: We are urgently looking for a team of volunteers to man our Reception Area at the weekends and hopefully we can entice some of you to consider this role. Currently we have a gorgeous revamped reception Area, and with all the extra activity happening we really need a dig out with front of house. We are looking for a select few volunteers who can give us a dedicated amount of hours at the weekend. The main hours involved are 10.30 - 5pm, Saturday & Sunday.
