New Features and Modifications

This hotfix eliminates the following problems: ERR_48226 Some wrong AppIDs (GOOSE) after updating DIGSI from V 4.71 to V 4.83 The GOOSE AppIDs are correctly updated now. To ensure compatibility of the GOOSE AppIDs during the update all AppIDs are changed. Therefore mixed device configurations (devices parameterized using DIGSI 4.71 and DIGSI 4.83 HF2) can communicate via GOOSE without problems. ERR_47593 DIGSI crash if you have more than 8 IP-addresses on your PC DIGSI 4 works correctly with up to 20 IP addresses on a PC. ERR_48779 Errors in Parameter Set Comparison When comparing the device parameter set online / offline the correct language and character set is used. When a device is opened online and PC device language and device operating language are different, the correct language and character set is used. When display images are compared, the comparison result is correct. ERR_48498 Parameter Set Comparison shows German text When DIGSI parameter set comparison is used in Russian, the text Line is different is translated correctly to Russian. ERR_49088 Traces will be shifted in case of a comma in the name of the trace If a fault record is transferred via IEC 61850, commas in the names of analog tracks will not affect displaying the fault record anymore. Please note: If user defined annunciations shall be displayed in the binary tracks of a fault record that is downloaded via IEC 61850, you need to avoid using commas in the names. CR_758 Extension of IEC 61850 IED-names to 13 characters IEC 61850 IED names can have up to 13 characters Please note: it is recommended to set definitive IED names before configuring GOOSE connections. If the IED name of a device that communicates via GOOSE is changed, dont forget to force an update of all devices that take part in GOOSE communications of the changed device. In order to do this you might need to issue a pseudo change (i.e. just an interim change of a setting and changing it back after DIGSI 4 recognizes the need for an update) in the other devices to recognize the change of the device name.

Compatibility
DIGSI V4.83 Hotfix 2 can only be used to update DIGSI V4.83. It doesn't matter if the Patch 1 oder Patch 2 for DIGSI V4.83 has been applied to the system prior to installing this hotfix. This hotfix does not include Patch 1, Patch2 or Hotfix1 for DIGSI V4.83.

Installation: 1. Make sure, that DIGSI V4.83 is installed on your PC. 2. Close DIGSI V4.83 before you install the DIGSI V4.83 Hotfix 2. 3. Unzip the files in a local folder of your PC. Keep the folder structure as it is in the ZIP archive, see Contents of the Consignment / Installation. 4. Execute the installation script HotFixInstall.bat. This will install the hotfix into your local DIGSI 4 installation. 5. Now you can delete the unzipped files. Remarks to Installation How to recognize that DIGSI V4.83 Hotfix 2 has been installed: Open the "Properties" of the installed files in MS Windows-Explorer, open the "Version" tab and check if it shows the version that is listed in Contents of the Consignment / Installation, see above.

Neuerungen und nderungen
Folgende Fehler werden mit diesem Hotfix behoben: ERR_48226 Nach der DIGSI-Aktualisierung von V4.71 auf V4.83 sind manche AppIDs (GOOSE) falsch Die GOOSE AppIDs werden jetzt korrekt aktualisiert. Um die Kompatibilitt der GOOSE AppIDs beim Update sicherzustellen, werden alle AppIDs automatisch angepasst. Deshalb knnen gemischte Gertekonfigurationen (Gerte parametriert mit DIGSI 4.71 und DIGSI 4.83 HF2) ber GOOSE problemlos kommunizieren. ERR_47593 DIGSI strzt ab, wenn der PC mehr als 8 IP-Adressen hat DIGSI 4 funktioniert einwandfrei mit bis zu 20 IP-Adressen auf dem PC. ERR_48779 Fehler im Parametersatzvergleich Fr den Parametersatzvergleich Online / Offline wird die richtige Sprache und der richtige Zeichensatz verwendet. Wenn ein Gert Online geffnet wird und PC-Gertesprache und Gertebediensprache sind unterschiedlich, wird die richtige Sprache und der richtige Zeichensatz verwendet. Wenn Displaybilder verglichen werden, ist das Vergleichsergebnis korrekt. ERR_48498 Parametersatzvergleich zeigt deutsche Texte Wenn der Parametersatzvergleich in russischer Sprache verwendet wird, ist der Text Zeile ist unterschiedlich richtig ins russische bersetzt. ERR_49088 Strschriebe sind verschoben, wenn einer der Bezeichner ein Komma enthlt Wenn ein Strschrieb ber IEC 61850 bertragen wird, wird die Darstellung des Strschriebs durch ein Komma im Bezeichner einer Analogspur nicht mehr beeintrchtigt. Hinweis: Wenn benutzerdefinierte Meldungen als Binrspur eines Strschriebs, der ber IEC 61850 bertragen wird, dargestellt werden sollen, mssen Sie Kommas in den Meldungsnamen vermeiden. CR_758 Erweiterung des IEC 61850 IED-Namen auf 13 Zeichen IEC 61850 IED-Namen knnen bis zu 13 Zeichen lang sein. Hinweis: Es ist ratsam, die endgltigen IED-Namen festzulegen, bevor GOOSE-Verbindungen parametriert werden. Wenn der IED-Name eines Gerts, das ber GOOSE kommuniziert, gendert wird, muss bei allen Gerten, die an einer GOOSE-Verbindung des genderten Gerts teilnehmen, die Aktualisierung erzwungen werden. Dazu mssen Sie mglicherweise bei den anderen Gerten eine Pseudonderung durchfhren (z.B. eine Einstellung vorbergehend ndern und, nachdem DIGSI erkannt hat, dass eine Aktualisierung notwendig ist, wieder zurckstellen) damit die nderung des IED-Namen erkannt wird.

Fr die Installation des Hotfix muss DIGSI V4.83 auf Ihrem PC installiert sein.

Kompatibilitt
DIGSI V4.83 Hotfix 2 darf nur mit DIGSI V4.83 eingesetzt werden. Ob der bereits verfgbare Patch 1 oder Patch 2 fr DIGSI V4.83 vor Installation dieses Hotfixes ausgefhrt wurde, spielt keine Rolle. Dieser Hotfix beinhaltet NICHT den Patch 1, Patch 2 oder Hotfix1 fr DIGSI V4.83.

Installation: 1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass DIGSI V4.83 auf dem PC installiert ist. 2. Schlieen Sie DIGSI V4.83, bevor Sie das DIGSI V4.83 Hotfix 2 installieren. 3. Entpacken Sie die Datei in ein lokales Verzeichnis auf ihrem PC. Behalten Sie dabei die Unterverzeichnisse bei, siehe Lieferumfang / Installation. 4. Starten Sie das Installationsscript HotFixInstall.bat. Dies installiert den Hotfix in Ihre lokale DIGSI 4 Installation. 5. Jetzt knnen Sie die entpackten Dateien wieder lschen.

Hinweise zur Installation

So erkennen Sie, dass das DIGSI V4.83 Hotfix 2 installiert ist: ffnen Sie den "Eigenschaften"-Dialog der installierten Dateien mit dem MS Windows-Explorer, ffnen Sie die Registerkarte "Version" und berprfen Sie, ob die Version angezeigt wird, die in Lieferumfang / Installation angegeben ist, siehe oben.

Es ist weder mglich noch ntig, das DIGSI V4.83 Hotfix 2 zu deinstallieren.
