He played all the instruments involved in multi-session tracks. Professionalism, of course, came later. Before, graduating at Naples Conservatory of Music with full marks, he played a pivotal role in Neapolitan music jazz scene since the beginning of this century, taking part in many jazz festivals, as Nick la Rocca European jazz festival and Marechiaro Jazz Festival among the others. From 2008 he starts a collaboration with the University Federico II, (math department) teaching Classical and Jazz harmony to non professional musician. He wrote the original sound track of Massimo Piccolos Assolo (http://imageshack.us/photo/myimages/196/mattinotestata130811.jpg/ ), the music of the shor movies Solidamore by felice dAndrea, and the whole music of the theatrical pice, Sante, Madonne e Malefemmine. Muzikensemble is Claudio Passilongo band. They create their own music, exploring the myriads of paths of Jazz. Their style is made by melodic lines, harmonized with Classical music and shaking by Afro-American rhythms. The repertoire is made by Claudios originals and the worldwide famous movie soundtracks (Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, and more), all mixed by their peculiar stylistic approach. He composes also Pop songs with the lyricist M. Piccolo (Luna di Seta, Polo Sud edition, 2005), and more recently with the Poet Maria C. DAndrea (whose poems have been lately performed live at Dorias Festival in Angry). Actually he has a column on an online-newspaper Getta la rete about classical and jazz music.
