The Circuit Attorney of the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri, upon information and belief, charges that Count 1: Assault 1st Degree - Serious Physical Injury (Class A FELONY) RSMo 565.050 ON 1/15/2013 Time: 2:00 PM Place: 15XX WASHINGTON AVE (SCC 13011) The defendant, in violation of Section 565.050, RSMo, committed the class A felony of assault in the first degree, punishable upon conviction under Section 558.011, RSMo, in that on or about January 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM, in the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri, the defendant shot G.E. in the chest and such conduct was a substantial step toward the commission of the crime of attempting to kill or cause serious physical injury to G.E. and was done for the purpose of committing such assault, and in the course thereof inflicted serious physical injury on G.E.

I have probable cause to believe that Sean Maurice Johnson, a Black Male DOB: XX/XX/78 Age: 34, committed one or more criminal offense(s). Count 4: POSSESS DEFACED FIREARM (Class B MISDEMEANOR) RSMo 571.050 ON 1/15/2013 Time: 2:00 PM Place: 15XX WASHINGTON AVE (SCC 31112) 2. The facts supporting this belief are as follows: On January 14, 2013, the defendant, a student at Stevens Institute of Business and Art, entered the school in order to discuss his financial aid with victim G.E., Director of Financial Aid. Defendant had a heated exchange with victim G.E. concerning his financial aid. On January 15, 2013 Defendant entered Stevens Institute of Business and Art. He proceeded to the office of G.E. They again discussed his financial aid. The defendant stepped out of G.E.s office. He returned and shot G.E. once in the chest. G.E. was taken to St. Louis City Hospital where he had to undergo surgery to remove the bullet. He is in critical stable condition, but is expected to survive. Following shooting G.E. the defendant fled to the stairwell in the school. Police found him a short time later with a gun shot wound to his side. The gun was located with 3 live rounds inside. The weapons serial number was scratched such that it was unreadable. Defendant has a prior conviction and is currently on probation in St. Louis County for an Assault 2nd and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Defendant also has multiple priors for drug trafficking and possession of controlled substance in the city of St. Louis.
