IMPROVED SECURITY
The latest version of ArchestrA System Platform provides data communication channel encryption for enhanced system security. The data communication channels from System Platform to Historian Server or between one System Platform and another (Galaxy to Galaxy with Multi-Galaxy capability) can be fully encrypted, thus helping to improve the security of data across the entire system. Configuration of this encryption is as simple as checking a box and is extremely cost effective.

DATA CONTEXTUALIZATION
ArchestrA System Platform 2012 R2 features a new Information Server OverView module, which provides a browser-based integrated view of process history, alarm, and production data. It provides users with a holistic understanding of their operations. Information from multiple sources can now be shown in context and in high fidelity for flexible trouble shooting, drill-down diagnostics, and ad-hoc analysis OverView provides a rich user experience, much like a desktop application, that can be easily accessed from the web via Information Server, reducing risk and maintenance requirements. Operators, to production managers to the CEO can have access to real-time and historical data with the context needed to solve problems faster
