FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION: Friday, February 1 is the First Friday of the month. There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 8:00p with the recitation of the rosary. Adoration will continue throughout the night and will close with Mass on Saturday at 8:00a. COFFEE & DONUTS hosted by the St. Vincent De Paul Society will follow the 8:30a & 11:00a masses on Sunday, February 3 in the Parish Life Center. This is a great opportunity to meet and welcome new parishioners. THE MONTHLY BAPTISM CLASS is scheduled for Sunday, February 3 @ 2:00p in the Parish Life Center (Lower Level). This is a mandatory class for all first time parents wishing to have their baby baptized at Our Lady of Victory.

BAKERS NEEDED: The OLV St. Vincent De Paul Society

and volunteers will be packing 200 lunches for the homeless on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 6:30p in the Parish Life Center. Two hundred servings of cookies are needed and ALL are welcome to help pack. We like to have 2-3 cookies per serving in a baggie for easy packing. BETHESDA HEALING MINISTRY is beginning a weekly Pro Life Rosary Group on Monday, February 4, 2013. They will meet at 10:30a every Monday at Christ the King Parish convent, 2744 Dover Rd Columbus. Trinity Catholic School Open House Dates

Trinity Catholic Elementary School is accepting applications for Grades K-8 for the 2013-2014 school year. Application materials can be mailed to you by calling the school office at 614-488-7650 or by emailing jsilcott@cdeducation.org. Applications can be picked up in the school office between 8am and 3pm any school day. Rather than having one Open House afternoon or evening we are holding a series of Open Houses when school is in session so that you can see us in action. Visit the classroom(s) of your choice, visit with the principal, tour the building and have all your questions answered. Our Open House dates are as follows. Stay for as long or short a time as you like! If none of these times are convenient, please contact us to arrange another time. Evening and weekend tours can also be arranged.

CONFIRMATION: Please pray for our 8th Grade Candidates as they continue to prepare for
the sacrament of Confirmation on April 23, 2013. Today at the 11:00am Mass there will be a Confirmation Commitment Ceremony which is for all our Candidates and their Sponsors (a parent may stand in place of the Sponsor if they cannot attend). At this ceremony, the Candidates will promise to deepen their faith and open their hearts to the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that they may complete their initiation into the Catholic Church. Looking Ahead- Important February Dates: Ahead1st Communion: There will be a required Parent & Child 1st Holy Communion Meeting on Wednesday, February 6th at 7:00-8:00pm in the Church. Confirmation Class: There will be a required talk given by Youth Minister, Pam Heil, from St. Brigid Church on Christian Morality & Sexuality on Thursday, February 7 at 6:45-8:30pm in the PLC. This talk is for ALL 8th grade Candidates and at least one parent. Come hear a very inspiring message about the real meaning of true love.

CHILDRENS LITURGY OF THE WORD MEETING

Childrens Liturgy of the Word (or CLOW for short) Committee will be meeting on Sunday, January 27th at 10:00 am in Victory Hall. Wed like to invite new parents to come to the meeting and consider participating in this worthwhile ministry. Each week we need 4 to 5 volunteers to act as pied pipers, musicians, leaders and homilists, as well as to help with clean-up and set-up. No prior knowledge is necessary, and the time commitment is generally for only one or two Sundays a month during the 11:00 Mass. We are happy to train you for a position that meets your talents, but we NEED your help. In addition, volunteers must have attended Protecting Gods Children and have had a background check done. CLOW has been a strong ministry for the children of OLV for over 25 years, but we need new members to continue so were asking for your help. CATHOLIC MENS LUNCHEON CLUB/CATHOLIC MAN OF THE YEAR PRESENTATION: Plan now to join the Most Reverend Frederick F. Campbell, Bishop of Columbus, when he presents the Columbus Dioceses 2013 Catholic Man of the Year Award at the February Luncheon on Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Patrick Church, Downtown Columbus. There will be 11:45a Mass followed by Lunch and the Award Presentation until 1:00pm. You will be inspired and motivated by testimonials about the Catholic Man of the Year, whose name will be announced this week; $10 covers the lunch and meeting.
