Health Minister Lawrence Springborg has confirmed staffing cuts of about 1000 FTE positions across Metro North Hospital and Health Service. This will have a major effect on frontline services in facilities including the Royal Brisbane & Womens Hospital. This is a wholesale slash-and-burn of the states vital health resources. The careers and livelihoods of hardworking health workers are being completely destroyed.
