DRAGONSOULS Dragonsoul are almost identical to Dragonborns (from races of the dragons) except the Dragonsouls aren't a person

that has undergone a ritual, they are a completely new race of creature intelligent, strong, cunning. Also unlike Dragonborns, Dragonsouls are not all good since their creator Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral herself is worshiped by evil dragons, too. As such a character starts out a Dragonsoul choosing which chromatic or metallic dragon their character resembles. Dragonsouls look like Dragonborns and in most cases a character couldn't tell which one they are unless they are a chromatic Dragonsoul. Unlike Dragonborns, Dragonsouls often have tails and occasionally even have wings. Dragonsouls are commonly large, medium, or small sized but there have many Dragonsouls that have been larger or smaller than this medium (normally no larger or smaller than three size categories from medium size). Personality: Dragonsouls are all tend to act noble with a extremely strong sense of loyalty. While their general personalities differ greatly from each other, they all have the draconic-like air and most tend to think themselves as high as dragons and dragons to think Dragonsouls as equals. As such they get alone with almost any race with the exception of Halflings, Half-Orcs, and Gnomes. Dragonsouls love doing the will of their creator Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral and helping their racial allies Chromatic, Metallic dragons, Elves, Good Drows, Half-Dragons, Dragonborns, Lizard folk and humans. They also take pleasure in performing martial art and magic. They tend to be leaders or in other areas of power. The appearance of Dragonsouls outside of the world of Darastrixoposs is extremely rare if not unheard of in some universes. Physical Description: Dragonsouls come in a variety of sizes, though medium size Dragonsoul are among the most common size with them standing 6 feet 3 inches to 8 foot tall and usually weigh between 200 to 315 pounds. Females are typically either as tall as or slightly shorter than males and are lighter than males. Their skin colors generally are the same color as the same dragon aspect they are. Thanks to their draconic nature they are hardier than most humanoids, but are not often very graceful. Dragonsouls have a body similar to a half-dragon with a head resembling the dragon that is the same as their aspect; while most have a tail some dont making it relatively easier for them to use standard equipment. On rare instances Dragonsouls have wings and can be a great assistance in combat. Dragonsoul dress however it suits their personality and wears whatever they feel comfortable in. People who havent seen a Dragonsoul before often are distressed and uncomfortable around the Dragonsoul until they get used to it. Only on rare occasions do a Dragonsoul and another humanoid have such a strong relationship that they become lovers. Relations: Dragonsouls get along with true dragon (mostly Chromatic and Metallic dragon), elves, and Half-Dragons. Though they get along with the good drows especially those who worship Eilistraee or Corellon both of which are Arsthyrtiaurathearvorals allies and with some humans and lizard folk. Half-Elves, Half-celestial, and Half-Fiends also common get along Dragonsouls but this mostly depends on how they were raised. Because Lolth and Ashardalon (Whose soul had apparently been spilt in two, one became a vestige and the other became the

Deity Ashardalon who has aligned himself with Lolth) are the enemies of Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral, Dragonsouls are the enemy of evil drows, the chaotic evil dragons that commonly worship Ashardalon and of any human or half-dragon who align themselves with the servants of Ashardalon and Lolth (in Dragons Reign [the loose common translation. Though has been commonly accepted as the name of the world, only those who speak draconic know the literal translation for Darastrixoposs is Dragon(s) Rain and it is theorized that the true dragons use this, due to the verbal similarities in common between Rain and Reign. On rare occasions some Chromatic dragons have used the word Darastixssissth which mean dragon(s) ruler, its believed that they use this in reference to Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral, who is often referred to as the true ruler of Darastrixoposs since it was her who made the chromatic dragons of Darastrixoposs turn away from Tiamat long ago and set up humans to be slaves to the dragons and elves.] Reds, blacks, and white dragons are Lawful or Neutral rather than chaotic unless they are the rare chaotic neutral dragons). Alignment: Dragonsouls tend towards law or neutral over chaos. Among good Dragonsouls Lawful Good, Chaotic Good, and Neutral Good are equally common. Among Evil Dragonsouls Lawful Evil are more common than Neutral Evil and Chaotic Evil is almost unheard of, but they are those few cases that are, but those that are still worship Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral though since she doesnt approve the destructive chaos typical of chaotic evil character, she doesnt respond to them unless its important. Generally speaking the Dragon Aspect doesnt affect their alignment, though a rare few have been known to fallow the alignment of their Aspect in order to feel a more common bond with that dragon type. Dragonsoul Lands: Dragonsouls dont have their own lands, not because they dislike their own kind but because they are simple happier living in the lands of dragons, elves, good drows, and human (though in Darastrixoposs human lands are often ruled by dragons and there for considered dragons land, though there are a few communities of freed humans). Occasionally, they live in the lands of Dwarves, gnomes, or Halflings. Religion: Dragonsouls generally worship their patron deity Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral or they worship any other deity from the dragon pantheon with the exception of Tiamat whose existence has primarily been kept as a secret to keep Tiamat from finding out that Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral has usurp her as the queen of chromatic dragons on Darastrixoposs and her worshippers try to avoid mention their deity directly when outside Darastrixoposs unless they trust the individuals they are with so as not to let any worshippers of Tiamat find out about their goddess. Among The Dragon pantheon Dragonsouls seem to favor Aasterinian, Astilablor, Bahamut, Chronepsis, Hlal, Lendys, Tamara, and Io who they are very fond of worshiping. Bahamut is favored by most good dragonsouls especially paladins, with most neutral Dragonsouls favoring Io, and Evil Dragonsouls who dont worship their patron tend to favor Falazure or on the rare occasions when a chaotic evil dragonsoul who doesnt try to gain favor with the Matriarch Dragon may worship Garyx. Dragonsouls often take worship of the deities of their allies, elves and good drows mostly Corellon Larethian but some worship Eilistraee. On

Occasions when Tiamats Spawns might prove to be especially dangerous, Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral might send one of her worshippers to another universe to help Bahamut fight the Spawn of Tiamat. Language: Dragonsouls speak Draconic the language of the dragons and of their mother Arsthyrtiaurathearvoral. The ancient language is often used by sorcerers and since they are draconic its common for them to help sorcerers to understand bits of draconic knowledge. They also tend to learn the languages of their more common enemies and allies and on rare occasions have even learned some secret languages. There have been even rarer occasions when a good drow and a dragonsoul have a strong bond of friendship they might even be taught Drow sign. Names: Dragonsouls names vary greatly, some use draconic phrases others take a human or elven name; sometimes they even add a draconic word or two to their human or elven names. Generally they take a name that suits their personalities. It is a common practice among some dragonsouls to describe themselves, or their class with their name if they use draconic for it. Most dragonsouls have their gender aesthyr (female) or sthyr (male) either in their name or at the end of it. Common Draconic Dragonsoul names example: Kothardarastrix Sunathaersthyr, Irthossjach Aesthyrvirlyrm, Charirixenmolik iothaesthyr, and Vorelaesthyr Charirdarastrixvorastrix. Adventurers: Dragonsouls adventure for the same reasons as other humanoid races. Though they dont generally adventure for statues, since dragonsouls dont put any value on rank or wealth. But, they are often champions for powerful dragons or for their allies. Dragonsouls and Mates: Dragonsoul are fully capable of reproducing either with their own kind, other humanoids, or with dragons (They have a dragons versatility with breeding, but normally favorer those mentioned and on occasions monstrous Humanoids and giants). Females and males both remain fertile throughout their whole life and could have many children, but most of the time only the extremely loose young dragonsouls (adult through middle age) seem to do so and in most cases dont seem to slow down with their over active until they reach old or find an individual they wish to settle down with. When two dragonsoul mate they always produce another dragonsoul, if the dragonsouls were of two different aspect there is a 50% chance (1-50) the child might have one of either of the parents aspect. When a dragonsoul mate with someone other than a dragonsoul there is 10% chance (1-10) the child is an ordinary creature of the nondragonsouls race, 45 % chance (11-55) they produce a dragonsoul with the same aspect as the dragonsoul parent, 25% chance (56-80) the resulting child is a half-dragon (if this is the case treat the dragonsoul parents dragon aspect as the half-dragons dragon parent type for determining breath weapon, immunities and possible feats they get or can apply for ), and 20% chance (81-100) that they are a draconic child (use the dragonsouls dragon aspect to determine its effective dragon parent type). Should a Dragonsoul mate with a dragon there is a 50% chance (1-50)that the resulting child may be a dragonsoul with the dragonsoul parent aspect or the

aspect of their dragon parent (only if they are a chromatic or metallic dragon, otherwise use the dragonsoul parents aspect) or a dragon of the same type as their dragon parent, should their dragon parent be a chromatic or metallic dragon of a type that is different from the dragonsoul parents aspect there is a 50% chance (1-50) that the resulting dragonsoul child might have the aspect of its dragonsoul parent or be an aspect of its dragon parent.
