CIT PRoGRAM | CouNsELoRs IN TRAINING

Professional development opportunity for summer 2013. Applicants must be 15 or 16 years old no later than June 1, 2013 and have an interest in working in our day camp. Proof of age and working papers are required. All who apply for a CIT position must plan to participate in six workshop sessions. There is a $35 registration fee. Those selected as a CIT will be assigned to the day camp and will receive a $300 stipend for the summer, including all staff orientations. Applications can be submitted at the MMCC main desk. Our Mosholu Day Camp will return to our new fantastic country site at Harriman State Park on beautiful Lake Cohasset. Our exclusive site has wonderful facilities. The crib dock system on the lake allows us to teach all children how to swim no matter their level. We also teach fishing, canoeing, kayaking and row-boating on our large beautiful lake. We have many buildings on the site. Each group has their own bunk cabins. A large recreation building offers dance, Native American culture and learning. Our Stone Community House offers music and dancing. Campers eat lunch (which they bring) in the large open air pavilion. There is also a nature center. A large sports field is used for baseball, soccer, hockey and field games. A fitness course, biking, playground and archery are also available. Tours of the grounds will begin in April.

Trampoline Sports offers the latest, most exciting fitness trend in Americajumping, training, working out and playing popular indoor sports on massive courts of interconnected trampolines...Bounce! also houses a foam pit jump, an arcade, snack bar and lounge, a state-of-the-art sound system a totally separate trampoline and inflatable zone, Bounce! Jr., for the youngest kids.

All participants must bring lunch. A snack will be provided. Participants may be dropped off between 8:00am-9:00am. Bus will depart for trip at 9:00am. Participants must be picked up by 6:00pm or late fees of $20 for the first 15 minutes and $1 for each additional minute will be charged. All trips subject to change.
