NOTICE
MAJOR PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS AND IMPORTANT DEADLINES
1. Major Project Groups Distribution: Grouping for major project will be done by students as per their preference. Maximum no. of students in one group = 5. Number of students should be justifiable as per the work volume related to the project. Deadline for submission of group lists for major project has been given below. If the students fail to submit the group member list before the deadline, the grouping will be done by the department. Department has the full authority to review the grouping done by the students. 2. Project Guide: Project Guide will be assigned to each group of students by the department. The students are required to keep in contact with him/her and they can discuss their problems, which they face during the project, with their project guide. 3. 4. Synopsis: The students are required to submit the synopsis before the deadline given below. Synopsis has to be submitted in the format as given on page no. 3-4. Mid-Term Report & Presentation: In the mid-term, the students will have to submit a mid-term report, before the date mentioned below. This report will include the progress on the project undergoing. The format for Mid-Term Report is given on page no. 5-6. Before submission, the report should be checked by the respective project guide. Students will also have to give a presentation on the work done till date. Presentation will be conducted in major project regular classes. 10 minutes time will be given to each group of students for presentation and 5 minutes for questioning (in total max. 15 minutes). 5. Final Major Project Report: The format for Final Major Project Report is given on page no. 7-10. All the students are required to prepare this report in that particular format only. The final report should be checked by respective project guide, before submission. 6. Major Project Evaluation (Internal Marks = 120): Synopsis (10): Assessment will be made on the basis of presentation of concept / idea of work going to be carried out by the group. Mid-Term Report & Presentation (20): Work done by each group member will be assessed from the report and presentation on work done given by them upto this date. Project Display (40): Work done by each group member will be assessed during the project display, as per individuals contribution, on the basis of which the marks will be awarded to the student. Viva (30): Students will have to appear for internal viva as per the date displayed on the notice board later. Marks will be awarded as per the performance of the student. Project Report (20): Project Report should be strictly as per the format given.
