The Cameron Centric 15 Mudline Suspension System is a proven, dependable system for drilling, temporary abandonment and production tieback operations. System Features Deep stack-down configuration eliminates trash/debris traps and improves the reliability and efficiency of tieback operations. Separate thread and seal areas for running and tieback minimize the risk of damage to critical areas. High-pressure and high casing hanger load capacities increase system versatility. Patented washout technique for large diameter casing strings eliminates pipe rotation. Washout is possible with conductor set in tension. Unique split-ring design prevents damage to cage during compression in wellhead, accommodates debris and provides two point centralization. All threads prealign to facilitate installation and tieback. Split ring hanger reciprocation is achieved without recovery for resetting. Installation Features All running tools feature right-hand release for ease of abandonment. All hangers incorporate dual centralization to ensure concentricity. Washout Procedure

The Cameron Centric 15 Mudline System incorporates a patented washout technique which eliminates the need to rotate the casing. In this system, a washsleeve in the running tool can be opened and closed using a torque tool run as part of the cement stinger. Since the sleeve is not affected by riser bending loads, it can be operated at all times using low torque rates. Also, the washports can be opened with the cement string in place, minutes after completion of cementing.

With more flexible casing strings that are less prone to high manipulating torque, washout ports on the surface and production string running tools are opened by rotating the casing. The ports are designed to ensure cleaning action.

1. Hanger is inserted through wellhead into casing. Split ring is retracted. Setting ring and fluted hanger section prevent presetting.

2. Split ring arrives at hanger profile where it easily expands prior to landing.

3. Split ring lands in hanger prior to hanger suspension on load ring.

4. Hanger seats on split ring; setting ring is forced into fully expanded position. Hanger is suspended parallel to the receiving profile.

Mudline Liner Hanger

Temporary Abandonment Cap

A mudline hanger is used to suspend casing strings which will not be tied back to the surface during tieback operations. This option allows operators the flexibility of installing additional strings of casing as needed without the need for additional risers to surface and the handling time associated with surface wellhead equipment.

The Centric 15 temporary abandonment cap protects the casing hangers and tieback profiles from the environment during the abandoned period. It is installed in the production string mudline hanger sealing that bore and the next casing annulus. The cap is engaged in the 9 5/8 hanger with a stabtype threaded ring and locks itself in the 13 3/8 hanger with a device activated by the downward motion of the cap. During recovery, trapped pressure can be vented and its source identified. Other caps and trash covers are available for larger hangers.

The Centric 15 System uses threaded or stab-in type tieback connections on the smaller sizes and tapered threads on larger sizes where maximum bending and tensile forces are exerted. Tieback threads and seal areas are not used during drilling and abandonment.

System is an economical, stack-down system. Its configuration is based on the Centric 15, but a shorter profile makes it ideal for exploration applications. System Features Stack-down configuration eliminates trash/debris traps and improves the reliability and efficiency of tieback operations. Separate thread and seal areas minimize possibility of damage to critical areas. High-pressure and high casing hanger load capacities increase system versatility. Optional patented washout technique for large diameter casing strings eliminates pipe rotation.

Unique split-ring design prevents damage to cage during compression in wellhead, accommodating debris and provides two point centralization.

All threads throughout the system prealign to ensure precise installation and tieback.

MX Subsea Tree

he MX subsea tree has been developed as a simple production system that can be economically installed on a mudline well from a jack-up rig. This system uses diver assistance to minimize cost and complexities and is very suitable for shallow water production projects. Features Flexible system can be installed over Cameron and other mudline products. Offers minimum cost and low maintenance. Tree designs are available for single or multiple string completions. Reliable and field-proven fail safe gate valves are available in either a stacked or composite valve block configuration. Tree design offers the option of completing inside 9 5 8" or 7" casing. Primary metal-to-metal seals are used at all environmental interfaces. Tree features a self-orienting tubing hanger with positive lockdown and anti-rotation capabilities. SCSSV lines are independently controlled. Tree can be readily maintained with diver assistance.
