Young people with big visions, taking small steps towards ambitious goals. No longer just consumers of jobs and wealth but creators of new value and employment. This is what has to be next if we want Indias demographic dividend to be our greatest opportunity and not our biggest threat, if we want India to see the next gen paradime in growth and development. India has the largest number of educational institutions in the world (21,000), a gross enrollment ratio of 20 million and a median age of 25.3, compared to 34.1 of China, 36.7 of USA. Yet, it is estimated that by 2020 as many as 47 million young people will be unemployed. Education is clearly not the only answer. It needs to be supplemented with systems that connect them to the spirit of innovation. This is the Next Generation that outperforms the previous in sports, gaming, creativity, technology and academics. And must be given the inspiration and the means to realise their dreams. DREAM:IN Next Gen is a plan to connect on ground with youth across institutions, town and cities of at least 50% of India. To engage with them, understand and record their aspirations. Which will become, at one level, an open source of qualitative data online. And at another, the basis for the creation of Next Gen enterprise and social action plans with a high level of business and design mentorship. In a unique convergence of business and design, online and on ground, education and practice, imagination and networks, plans and prototypes.

DREAM:IN SHOW
Across the two days, Investors will have conversations with the young entrepreneurs/dreamers, along with their mentors. At the DREAM:IN Show, all ventures will be displayed as panels, products, stories and scenarios. Independent meetings for each venture could continue upto a period of 1-3 months. And investors, mentors and the DREAM:IN team will be involved both online and physically. The evolution of the ventures will be traced and will come alive on www.dreamin.in
THEATER OF DREAMS
The theater of dreams will be a venue, where dreamclips of 60 seconds each will run continuously 24/7 alongside the DREAM:IN Conclave in April 2013. Participants dreams will be recorded at the Dreambooth, played live and uploaded as well.

ACADEMIC PARTNERS: are academic institutions who partner with the DREAM:IN initiative to benefit the interests of youth. Together with DREAM:IN they will create a system to promote and support entrepreneurship in their institutions. They also play an important role in creating awareness about DREAM:IN and help in capturing the dreams of youth. This includes providing volunteers for dream catching, requisite permissions and infrastructural support.
INDIVIDUAL
DREAMER: A Dreamer is a visionary who dreams of a better world and wants to entrepreneurially realise that dream. They are between the age of 18-30. They are keen on sharing their dreams,which will be captured on a video and uploaded on www.dreamin.in DREAM:IN will provide support to them for realisation of their dreams. BIG DREAMER: Stalwarts who have realized their dreams with persistent effort and passion. They are a role model for all the dreamers around the world. They will share their dreams and how they achieved them at the DREAM:IN Conclaves. They will also be invited to participate in Dream Scaping sessions. DREAM MENTOR: Seasoned professionals, entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs who are passionate about encouraging and supporting next generation enterprises of young dreamers by sharing their experience and learning. They will regularly interact with the next generation entrepreneurs on www.dreamin.in as well as in person. They will also be an integral part of bootcamps and other events organised by DREAM:IN. DREAM GURU: Dream Gurus have a deep understanding and knowledge of one or more discipline relevant to the DREAM:IN methodology, such as ethnography, film making, academics, sociology and research. They will train and may also travel with the Dream Catchers to capture dreams of the youth from all across the country.

DREAM MERCHANT: Partners from print, web, television, social media and/or other relevant media source. They will help communicate the DREAM:IN message and disseminate relevant information about DREAM:IN activities and events. DREAM CATALYST: Design thinkers, practitioners or leaders who interpret the captured dreams. Inspired by these dreams, they will create real-time scenarios to collectively realise the dreams in an entrepreneurial manner.
They could be seasoned practitioners or even young and enthusiastic design thinkers. DREAM TEAM: A set of passionate and responsible members who work independently and collectively within the framework of the DREAM:IN organization. DREAM PRODUCER: Young professionals who work enthusiastically with the Dream Team for a minimum period of 3 months.
They are mainly responsible for producing, packaging and managing the DREAM:IN Journeys and Conclaves. DREAM CATCHER: Outgoing, enthusiastic and inquisitive students from any part of the world. They are trained in the DREAM:IN methodology, and are made adept at film making, ethnography, sociology and other relevant skills. They will travel across the country to capture the dreams of people on a video which will be shared on www.dreamin.in
