Whether women should have children in their early or late years of their life is a matter of controversy. Some people think that the decision to have children in womens late years of life has positive effects on social development while others believe in the opposite. My essay will shed light on both sides of the issue. On one hand, there are several advantages of this decision. First of all, it is believed that once women have found a good job and education, they will know how to take care of their children better than those without these. Surveys have shown that older women are more fluent in teaching children

knowledge and ensuring good economic foundation for the latter to fulfill other dreams. Equally important, women in their early ages should focus on their career to reach a peak, which greatly benefits society. Facts have indicated that women often reach the zenith in their thirties. And if they are involved in children bearing and rearing at the early age, innovations or revolutionary ideas hardly come to them and their companies. Finally, with risks happening less in their late life after having a good education and career, women are psychological confident in giving birth while women in the early age are not well prepared. Teenage mothers, in reality, often abandon their children due to their lack of experience, and feel fearful in raising their kids. However, cons are well seen in this matter. Medically speaking, women in the early age are more physically stronger and capable of giving birth to more intelligent children than those in their late years. Even worse, since the older womens health is not yet good enough, the risk of miscarriage is higher. In other words, doctors believe that the age of giving birth is limited, and hence, women should prioritize this over their career ambition. Psychologically, only after the age of thirty do most women feel less willing to bear, especially when they realize the cost is far too high. This leads to a lower rate of childbirth, and the entire society lacks a generation to develop maybe. Another disadvantage is that no sooner have women held important positions in their organizations than they perhaps find it hard to give up and bear children. Their companies, during their possible pregnancy, may suffer too and hardly seek others to replace them.
