May 2005-Present

Designed ads for the web, magazines and newspaper; did layout of the real estate section of the paper. Accomplishments: Continued to develop my creative marketing and graphic communication skills. Took initia- tive to automate repetitive processing of layout, data and images by using the advanced automation features of Adobe and Microsoft software. These processes saved the company many hours of in-house and contract work.

Design for a variety of clients; pre-flight and plate-making for a two-color press; managed 4 high-speed color and B/W laser printers; customer service. Accomplishments: Gained full production experience, from taking an order to delivering it.

Designed a variety of publications, from child’s books to catalogs, for 2-color and 4+color presses. Accomplishments: Gained valuable design experience in a deadline environment.

Publishing/Graphic Design field. I believe that my career experience and skill set make me a perfect candidate for any media team.

I have been in the publishing field for the past seven

years in work environments ranging from a small printshop to a large printer to a magazine publisher. I’ve designed ads for many publications in Greenville, SC. Over the past seven years I have built a vast knowledge of the technical side of publishing as well as the strategic creative marketing side. I believe that only few can rival the breadth and depth of my experience and skills. I am a strong believer in consistency of design and also am convinced that less is more. I am very reliable and have a very strong work ethic. I am a happy team player who focuses on solutions and problem solving.
