Role: Mentoring Programme (Child & Parent Mentoring) - Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) What's Involved? The Mentoring programme develops a young person's self-esteem & social skills through support & encouragement from a volunteer mentor. As a volunteer mentor, you will be matched with a young person experiencing emotional and/or behavioural difficulties and provide face-to-face support. Where: Dublin When: A couple of hours a week for one year Role: Weekend Van Driver/ Foodbank Helper - Crosscare What's Involved? Collect and deliver stock for our Foodbank throughout the Greater Dublin Area./ Upack Van, sort out deliveries etc. Some lifting is involved. Where: Citywide When: Half a day at weekends Role: Table Quiz Volunteers - Dublin Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgendered Queer Pride Ltd What's Involved? Volunteers are need to assist in this Table Quiz and fun night in the Front Lounge in Dublin City Centre on 14 Feb. We will need a few volunteers to help out on the night of the quiz selling tickets and tables for the quiz. also we need people to correct questions and do the score board. Where The Front Lounge, City Centre When: 14 Feb - Evening, starts 8pm Role: Volunteer Translator/Proof-reader-The Rosetta Foundation What's Involved? The Rosetta Foundation is looking for translators/proof-readers of all languages to sign up as volunteers on our Community Portal, a collaboration site for translation projects. Where: Dublin City Centre When: 8th March 2013 Role: Befrienders/ Tutors/ Gardeners/ Activities Facilitator- Depaul Ireland What's Involved: Depaul Ireland are having their Spring recruitment session for their homelessness support services. Where: Various projects around the city When: 4 hours a week, 12 month commitment Role: Fundraising Intern - ALONE What's Involved: Research, develop and promote new ways of giving such as in memoriam and wedding favours. *Develop legacy fundraising. *Develop a welcome pack for individuals who sign up to regular giving and research new ways to develop this income stream.
