A Few Things to Note before Building:

-After you select the Choose your Build option the Brick Pallet Box will appear. If you
park your cursor arrow over the icons on the top of the screen or on the LEGO® brick
options it will give you a small description of what you are selecting.
-If you have volume on your computer you will want to turn it on because it will help
with some of the building steps. If you do not have volume for your computer you can
still build this project.

6
Getting Started:
Along the top of your Brick Pallet Box you will see five icons. If you park your cursor
arrow on them they will each display a description. For this project you will want to
select the middle icon by clicking on it. When you park your cursor arrow on this icon it
will display a description that states Filter Bricks by Boxes. When you click on it there
will be many options that appear. You will want to go down and click on the 4956 Dream
House option- see Figure 1.0. This option will supply you with the right LEGO bricks to
build this project.

Figure 1.0

Step 1 (parts a-k): Building the Base

a) To begin building the base you will want to select the PLATE 2x2 brick by clicking on
it. The PLATE 2x2 brick is in the third row and is the first option(the brick closest to
the left hand side of the box). This will display several more bricks you can choose
from and now if you park your cursor arrow over these it will give you a description of
that brick. For example: PLATE 2x2 or BRICK 1x6.

b) If you have volume this is where it will be helpful.

c) To scroll through the options that are available to you, use your mouse to click on the
arrow that is pointing down on the bottom right hand corner of the Brick Pallet Box.
Each time you click on the arrow if you have volume on your computer you will here a
click noise that comes out of your speakers. If you do not have volume you can use
the sound your mouse makes as you click each time or you can use your cursor arrow
to provide the brick description to be sure you are selecting the correct brick.

d) Scroll down 17 clicks.

e) In the very bottom row that appears in your Brick Pallet Box select the middle LEGO
brick by clicking on it. The description that will appear when you place your cursor
arrow on it will be PLATE 4x6(white).

7
f) Now that you have selected your PLATE 4x6 brick (Brick #1) when you drag your
cursor out to the grid on your screen it will be in the shape of the LEGO® brick you
selected. You will place this brick by clicking with your mouse on your grid in a place
of your choice leaving plenty of space on all sides for the addition of more bricks
around it- see Figure 1.1 below.

Figure 1.1

g) Select the same brick again (Brick #2) and use the same procedure to place it above
Brick #1 so they line up flush- see Figure 1.2 below.

Scroll until it will not go up any further. You should see the very first PLATE 2X2
that you selected in the very beginning. Click on this again with your mouse and it
will hide all the options that it gave you. This will be referred to in many future steps
as the Closing Procedure. When you see these words in the future follow this step.
