Plug valves
This is a quick opening valve constructed with a central core or plug. The valve is opened or closed with one quarter turn (90 degrees) -of the handle attached to the central core Texsteam valves are fitted to some separators and axe found in the manifold, oil, water and gas lines.

Gate valves
Choke manifolds have four gate valves arranged in such a way that the flow can be directed through either the fixed or the adjustable choke. The valves are opened and closed by hand wheels. Types of valves available on different choke manifolds include Mc Evov, Marlbranque, Sereg and WOM.

Butterfly Valves
A butterfly valve is a type of quick opening low pressure valve whose orifice is opened and closed by a disc that pivots on a shaft in the throat of the valve. A quarter turn (90 degrees) of the handle moves the valve from fully open to fully closed.

Ball valves
A ball valve is a quick opening valve with a spherical core, a ball with a full bore port that fits and turns in a mating cavity in the valve body. Ball valves open or close by a quarter turn (90 degrees) of the valve handle attached to the spherical core. Mapegaz valves in various sizes are used in the separator manifold and in the gas oil and water outlets.

DESIGN FEATURES
MAGNUM- WOM
Can flush the grease or body contaminants in full open or full close position. As the small amount of fluid and pressure remaining in the body cavity can be drained through a manual relief valve, there is no build up of sludge on threads of the stem screw. And at any time, the stem screw can be greased in open position under/full working pressure without taking the valve off-line! Lower Torque because of: Truly floating gate action Mating gate and seats have final surface finish of 1-2 RMS which substantially reduce friction. Forces between the gates and seats are balanced, nullifying their effect on valve operation Magna-Seal Lubricant has special additives which reduce friction even more

Longer Life: Longer lasting (typically 3 times more) gate and seats because of little exposure at critical moment of opening and closing and less loss of lubricant Bearings are isolated from any possible stem packing leak which may include highly embrittling H2S

Seals out dust and moisture: a. Seal located on top portion of bearing cap seals the hole which is used to insure that enough amount of grease is filled inside the bearing cap cavity. b. Seal located on bottom portion of bearing cap seals the hole which is used to allow any leakage to pass in case stem packing does not hold the pressure.

(9): Stem pin provides protection for the valve stem and other internal components in the event excessive torque is applied to the handwheel.

Stem packing (11):

Replaceable under full line pressure when the valve is either in fully closed or fully open position.

Grease fitting (16):

The one located on the bonnet is used to lubricate the stem and t-nut threads. And the one located on the body is used to lubricate the sealing internal parts inside body cavity such as gate, seat. Magna-seal grease is the recommended lubricant to maximize the service life.

It moves laterally due to design of the slot. It is a thick slab gate which prevents deflection at the rated working pressure, maintaining perfect seal with the seats and preventing the body cavity getting pressurized in fully open or fully closed position. This includes Seat (21), Seat Retainer (24) and seals. Packing Gland Seal (25): Seals in grease

Maintenance Instructions

The TEXSEAL D Series Valves allow both seats and plug to be removed without removing the valve body from the separator line.

Sight Glass with Safety Valve

1) Stay in their grooves.

2) Sight glass breaks because of the difference in pressure.

3) Balls are pushed back in their grooves with the stems. Stems have to return to their initial position so the balls can seat in case of a new failure.

The design of the Weco butterfly valve is such that it requires little or no maintenance. Normal cleaning, such as flushing out the port to prevent product from building up and restricting the movement of the disc, will increase the life of the valve. The Weco Butterfly valve can be completely reconditioned in the field without special tools.
