The Ceramic League of the Palm Beaches is please to have Peter Meyerhoefer as our Juror
for Scholarship Fundraiser at Eaton Fine Art He writes:
I took my passion for collecting art and turned that passion into Meyerhoefer Art Events
and Consulting. My goal is to work with and feature local South Florida artists in group
shows and exhibitions. My philosophy has always been 1) that good art does not need be
expensive. 2) Everyone can afford to have original art in their home and 3), if you love the
art that is all that matters.
From 2006 to 2008, I operated Meyerhoefer Gallery in downtown Lake Worth. In that
time period I featured more than 60 artists from Stuart to Key West. Their work included
paintings, photography, sculpture and ceramics. I worked to constantly challenge my
clients and guests with unique approachable art.
I always look for art that makes me stop and take a second look….art that speaks to me
and makes me listen.
Enjoy the show and if a piece of art is speaking to you, stop and listen and hopefully take it
home to enjoy for many years to come.
