TherealcomprehensivemeaningofLotusFeet(CharanKamal)andTheDivinepleasureenshrined init,extensivelyusedinGurbani,hasbeenconfoundingthemindsofmanyintelligentthinkersof theSikhcommunityforalongtime.Thesubjectwasthereforenotstudiedindetailanddepthby them. Bh.SahibBh.RandhirSinghJiwithAlmightyVaheguru'sbenedictionandhisselfconviction obtainedhisdeepfaithinthetruthfulnessoftheGurbani,wasoneofthefewfortunateRev.Sikhs whosincerely,diligentlywithreligiousdevotionhadtreadedtheabovementionedHolyPath.He withDivineintuitionwasnotonlyabletocherishtherealmeaningofLotusFeet,butalsoread deepintothepoeticlinesofGurbaniandthusenjoytheluminaryspiritbehindthewords. Howevertheficklemindedpersons,withtheirlimitedKnowledge,refusetoputfaithindeep spiritualimperceptiblereality.Thisistheirmisfortune.Theyshirkthepathofdiscovery,toremain incontradictionanddisbeliefofTheDivineWord,Gurbani.Theyhavetobeleftouttotheirillfate! Ontheotherhand,theRighteousGursikhsofFirmFaith,neverdoubttheRealityandTruthin Gurbani.Theyattributetheirlackofactualexperiencetotheirowninadequatepracticeand devotion.TheopponentsofGurmatandSpiritualdevelopmentarguethathowcouldFormless VAHEGURUhave'Feet'?Thisisanattributeonlyof'Sargun'oramanifestedform,accordingto them. TheybelieveVAHEGURUisnotaBeing.Itisclearlypointedoutattheveryoutset,thatAkalPurkh, VAHEGURUisindeed'AkalMoorat'EverExistentBeinginTheNirgunSaroop,transcendingthe mammonofthreequalities.TodenythisTruthistodenytheveryExistenceofAkalPurkh. ThusAkalPurkhisverymucharealbeingbutittranscendstheworldlyforms.Thisisthefourth qualityradiantbeingthatiseverexistent.

Chapter2AviewofAkalPurakhsfeet ThevisionofDivineLightImageofanimperceptibleray,throughpracticeofNAAMdevotion, withinthebeingofGurmukhdevoteesistherealenshrinementoftheLotusDivineFeet.NAAM practiceaccordingtoGurmattechnique,witheverybreath,limitlesspractice,culminatesintoa wondrousNectarianLighteffulgenceofpricelessjewelwiththeinductivequalityofPaarasJewel thatpervadesalltheporesofthebeing.Suchistheallpervasivenessthroughoutthebeing,ofthis EffulgentJewel,NectarianGloriousRayofamazingsplendour,acuminatedarrow,NAAMGur Mantar,EnshrinedLotusFeetofDivineLightVAHEGURU!SaysGurbani; O'Nanak!GraspedwithintheheartisCharanShabadofSatguru.2.7.38.
