Ceramic printed glass is tempered safety glass to which a special paint composed of powedered glass and pigments, has been applied by the way of a rollers or a silk-screen print, spraying immediatly prior to the tempering process. During this paint becomes permantly fused onto the surface of the glass.This colour layer is more resistant to mechanical impact, ageing or temperature fluctuations. That is why it can be used also for outdoor applications. Ceramic printed glass can create numerous finished and effects and can be assembled not only in partitions and doors, but also into shower screens and laminated units. Tempered Glass Manufacturer

There is still a risk that a thermally tempered glass may spontaneously break without beeing under external shocks. This risk can be avoided by HEAT-SOAK TREATMENT. Any glass contains inclusions of nickel sulphide (NiS) that increase their volume under high temperatures. The increse in volume of NiS inclusions can cause the sheet of glass to break spontaneously once it has been installed. According to the type of application in which the glass is to be used, the heat soak treatment may be used to reduce the risk of human injury. Thus, after the tempering process, the glass is held under a constant temperature of cca. 290 degrees C, for a period of time (4-8 hours). During this time, the increase volume of NiS inclusions causes the breaking of the tempered glass that may have this risk. Drilling and cuttings must be pricise, having a decorative purpose, but also for its functional role as requiered in point fixed glazing, bolted and patch fittings. Standard cutting of glass sheets is made using equipment specially desiged for this kind of operation ( semi automatic drilling machine), with hole diameters ranging between 4 mm to 62 mm. Special cutting procedures are performed using the Bavelloni multifunctional work centre (CNC) that assures not only the accurancy of the holes, but also a better quality which is important to avoid glass breakages during tempering process and than to further applications. to ensure the resistance of the whole sheet after breakage such as: shop-fronts, balconies, stair-railings, roof glazing. Eva film could also be used for design purpose. Many types of decorative substrat material can be put between two pieces of glass to obtain diffrent patterns: silk, paper, film on which graphics are printed. Coloured painted glass ( according to RAL standard) can also be laminated to provide double sided opaque colour for doors, glass walls or shower enclosures.
