Pakistan Professional Boxing League was founded with the aim of promoting the worlds second most played sport i.e. boxing in Pakistan. Currently, the boxing federation is working for amateur boxers. However, the team at PPBL is striving hard to structure a foundation for this sport based on international standards for the athletes in Pakistan who aspire to be professional boxers. The organizations vision is multifold, which includes: Promoting Professional boxing in Pakistan Providing a platform to the local athletes Enhancing the image and reputation of Pakistan

ACHEIVEMENTS Despite of being a very freshly founded organization, PPBL with its determination and hard work has not only been recognized by the Pakistan Sports Board, but also has been able to acquire license from the office of World Boxing Council. This legitimates the operation of PPBL in relevance to the International standards. The WBC license is an indication of the following: 1. Pakistan can host boxing world title competitions

Since the first national boxing championship in 1948, Pakistan has not established any platform for professional boxers. But now, PPBL aspires to revolutionize the Boxing sport in Pakistan. PPBL is attempting to make Pakistans athletes step into the world of Professional boxing. Pakistan Professional Boxing League Bouts shall not only be on national level. International event are being planned by PPBL, which has international recognition and being supported by WORLD BOXING COUNCIL. This thrilling festivity will generate healthy business activity in Pakistan. International Media will be following international celebrities, fighters and the second highest viewed game globally. Pakistan Professional Boxing League holds the distinction of being the first and the only sporting league of its nature in Pakistan. After a long wait of 65 Years, Pakistan is stepping into Professional Boxing. Boxing is among the very few sports, in which Pakistan has made slow but steady progress despite general deteriorating standards. One is astonished to mark the progress keeping in view the fact that there is not a single gymnasium or indoor stadium of international standard. The Pakistani boxers also lack necessary equipment and other facilities that have made the other countries leading boxing nations of the world. More surprising is the fact that the Pakistani pugilists have climbed up the top berths in the organizational set-up of world amateur boxing by dint of sheer hardwork and individualistic efforts. This is no small achievement by any standards. The Pakistani pugilists have been winning honors in the Asian Games and Asian Boxing Championships ever since they started taking part in these continental contests. Pakistans Samad Mir won the only Commonwealth Boxing medal (a Bronze) in 1970 Games at Edinburgh. Due to organization of regular international contest in Asian region such as the King Cup - Bangkok and Presidents Cup Manila and Jakarta, the Pakistani boxers have had access to them and benefited fully from them, thus raising standard to a respectable degree. If the progress shown during the last decade or so is maintained, Pakistan will find its place among the comity of boxing nations of the world much sooner than many experts can visualize even. The revolutionary and extensive media campaign, gave a new life to this sport and now it has become popular game of Pakistan with multiple achievements in credits.
