DESCPIPTICN
The DATAKOM mode| DKC-112 is a |ov
cost, microprocessor contro||ed unit
designed to manua||y start and stop the
genset using the key svitch on the Iront
pane|.
ln the CFF position, the DC supp|y is
removed Irom the modu|e, thus zero pover
consumption is achieved.
The unit povers up vhen the PUN
position on the Iront pane| is se|ected. This
vi|| a|so energize the Iue| so|enoid re|ay. The
engine is then started using the next spring-
|oaded position marked STAPT. Once the
engine has started, the svitch shou|d be
re|eased.
To shut dovn the engine, se|ect the CFF
position on the svitch.
The saIety on signa|, vhich is picked up
Irom the AC generator input, enab|es the
a|arm monitoring aIter 4 seconds de|ay. (DC
signa| input option provided during
manuIacture)
lI a Iau|t condition occurs, the engine vi||
be stopped, the |ed associated vith this
condition vi|| turn on and the a|arm output
vi|| be energized. On|y the Iirst occurring
Iau|t vi|| be indicated. To reset the Iau|t
condition turn oII the svitch Ior a Iev
seconds.
The |imits Ior the correct generator
Irequency are 30 to 57 Hz. A 3 second
de|ay is provided to enab|e high current
startups.
The unit has Energize to Stop and 60Hz
options se|ected at the manuIacture stage.
The unit uses tvo part connectors Ior
easy rep|acement.
Every unit use the same key code Ior
interchangeabi|ity.
The unit is housed in a stee| chassis vith
po|ycarbonate Iront pane|.
The unit has diIIerent mode|s Ior 12vo|t
and 24vo|t gensets.
