Purpose Summary
To provide qualified leads and book new business opportunities for the Sales team to help them achieve company sales targets and improve profitability. The key areas of responsibility for the Telemarketing Executive include: Sales Systems Update and Reporting Teamwork Knowledge
Teamwork
To work as part of a team to achieve the departmental standards. To work together with other departments and divisions within the organisation to identify any process improvements and improve standards, efficiency and profitability. To provide sales support and / or assistance to other team members on product solutions.
Knowledge
To ensure that a good level of understanding and knowledge of organisations products and services, which is improved and maintained at all times, ensuring that customer queries can be dealt with accurately and appropriately and supported by the department. To take responsibility for own personal development in line with agreed annual performance objectives. To be willing to listen to and support colleagues and team members with professional problems, devoting time to impart expertise, infusing confidence and expressing positive expectations regarding the teams and companys performance. Such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.

Dimensions / Budgets
The department consists of four people in the Telemarketing team on a full-time basis, who deal with outbound calls which may be cold calling or following up on various marketing campaigns including e-shots, leads from external events and generating interest for our own events. Also responding to incoming calls via the telephone, incoming e-mail requests for information. The hours are between 0900 -1730 Monday Friday. The team are expected to reach a daily average of 100 calls per day, and achieve an individual target of at least 20 qualified appointments set each month.
