Purpose Summary
To provide qualified leads and book new business opportunities for the Sales team to help them achieve company sales targets and improve profitability. The key areas of responsibility for the Telemarketing Executive include: Sales Systems Update and Reporting Teamwork Knowledge

Principal Responsibilities Sales


To provide qualified leads and book appointments for the sales team, to generate new business. To follow up marketing campaigns and events to generate new prospect leads by telephone, identifying and qualifying opportunities for new business. To engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities. To build effective relationships with potential clients and existing customers, by use of appropriate questioning, clarification and language. To identify and qualify opportunities for cross selling Causeway products to generate business and increase profitability. To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure thata professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues. To support the Causeway customer service strategy by providing professional and effective services to all customers, to meet expectations, particularly in terms of Quality and Timeliness in line with departmental standards, procedures and guidelines. To communicate courteously with all customers by telephone, email and face to face, building positive relationships, and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time. To deal appropriately with queries received via the telephone and / or email and provide written or oral responses to confirm the information or outcome

Systems Update and Reporting
To maintain and update records in our CRM system accurately and in accordance with data protection requirements. To carry out data cleaning to provide accurate information and support for marketing campaigns and to increase new business opportunities. To identify renewal opportunities and gather customer information to ensure efficiency of renewal process. To provide line management with reports or information as required.

Teamwork
To work as part of a team to achieve the departmental standards. To work together with other departments and divisions within the organisation to identify any process improvements and improve standards, efficiency and profitability. To provide sales support and / or assistance to other team members on product solutions.

Knowledge
To ensure that a good level of understanding and knowledge of organisations products and services, which is improved and maintained at all times, ensuring that customer queries can be dealt with accurately and appropriately and supported by the department. To take responsibility for own personal development in line with agreed annual performance objectives. To be willing to listen to and support colleagues and team members with professional problems, devoting time to impart expertise, infusing confidence and expressing positive expectations regarding the teams and companys performance. Such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.

Telemarketing Executive Job description


Key Interfaces
Dealing with internal and external customers. Liaising with internal departments, primarily the sales department.

Dimensions / Budgets
The department consists of four people in the Telemarketing team on a full-time basis, who deal with outbound calls which may be cold calling or following up on various marketing campaigns including e-shots, leads from external events and generating interest for our own events. Also responding to incoming calls via the telephone, incoming e-mail requests for information. The hours are between 0900 -1730 Monday Friday. The team are expected to reach a daily average of 100 calls per day, and achieve an individual target of at least 20 qualified appointments set each month.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications


At least GCSEs in English Language and Maths or equivalent. Preferably six months relevant telemarketing experience including lead generation and responding to telephone queries (or potential to learn). A working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and E-mail. Use of CRM software would be an advantage. Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent customer focus. Good time management. Clear telephone manner and clear listening skills. Team player. Flexible approach. Demonstrates drive and positive approach to work and a determination and motivation to achieve targets. Experience in the IT or Telecoms industry would also be an advantage.
