5 The tree can be used as an focal element. It can be added within a scheme when there is colour based or contrast based selection. It can also be used as avenue planting 6 The trees prefers warm humid climate and its a slow growing tree initially and easily cultivable through seed.It can become weedy and invasive.

PLANT 2(NAME)- Cassia biflora 1 Cassia biflora,Commonly known as Desert cassia, Caesalpiniaceae family,Originally from Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Bahamas 2 A small tree with a beautiful cascading habit, tiny leaves, suitable for pot culture and bonsai. This early bloomer produces 1" yellow flowers. It excels in toughest conditions and grow to a height of 10-20ft 3 It has leathery foliage with small leaflets which are 2-4cms long with oval oblong shape 4 It has 3.5-5cms yellow flowers which are seen during the months of july and august. There is sporadic flowering in the remaining months. The bright flowers attract butterflies 5 Its suitable for group planting, visual appearance,colour/contrast based planting. It attracts butterflies(ecological value) 6 It can be used as a bonsai

PLANT 3(NAME)- Hamelia patens 1 Hamelia patens, Firebush, Hummingbird Bush, Scarlet Bush and Redhead.Rubiaceae family,Its native to tropics and subtropics of America (Florida) 2 Its a flowering shrub which can reach upto a height of 2.5m.Its showy, fastgrowing, semi-woody evergreen shrub. Its spread ranges from 1.5m-2.4m.The shrub has a spreading pattern with dense foliage. It has typically multi-trunked or clumping stems. 3 It has simple whorled leaves, usually with three but occasionally as many as seven at each node. The leaf shape is ovate and has pinnate venation. The leaves turn red during withering season and the leaf blade reaches up to 8 inches.

PLANT 4(NAME)- Asparagus setaceus 1 Asparagus setaceus, Commonly paragus Fern, Lace Fern, Climbing Asparagus, or Ferny Asparagus, Asparagaceae family and its native to southern Africa 2 Asparagus setaceus is an evergreen hardy Climber growing to 3. The male flowers are reduced to a pair of stamens and hairs and wither once the pollen is shed, leaving a short, bare stem portion above the female inflorescence. The dense cluster of female flowers forms a cylindrical spike some 10 to as much as 40 cm long and 1 to 4 cm broad. Seeds are minute (about 0.2 mm long), and attached to a thin hair or stalk, which effects wind dispersal. It is in flower from Jun to July) and are pollinated by Wind 5 It can be used as a barrier to prevent ppl from entering waterbody or screen areas close to water treatment plants. It attracts lot of wildlife interms of birds and insects 6 It is noted for attracting wildlife. It is used directly for food consumption. The roots can be boiled and eaten as potatoes, root grinded into powder isused as an ingredient in biscuits, soups],as an asparagus substitute. An edible oil is obtained from the seed .The dried pollen is said to be anticoagulant, but when roasted with charcoal it becomeshaemostatic.
