Daily Report on RRC Rejection Overview Report Design

This document provides the design details of the standard Daily Report on RRC Rejection Overview report that is applicable for the UMTS VN NA 2.0.0 Common Pack. This document also includes the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the report.

RRC Rejection Overview

There are two kinds of RRC connection. One kind is related to service access, the other kind is not related to service, such as related to location update, cell update, network registration etc. The first kind of RRC connection can be used to evaluate service accessibility across UTRAN; the second one can be used to evaluate RNC or cell admission capacity for UE and/or system load.
