National Church Life Survey

This weekend parishioners will partake in this Survey, an initiative of our Parish Leadership Team. The Survey results will help us respond to challenges and build on the strengths of our Parish. Project Compassion (Week 2): This weeks story focuses on Raymundo from Bolivia. At the age of eight Raymundo was told to start earning money to help his family. It was a hard life for a young boy and he started to spend time with a local gang, where he became addicted to flue sniffing. Through Caritas Australias partner Centro Creativo Artistico, Raymundo was able to attend a circus school for orphaned & vulnerable children, where new possibilities were opened to him. Rite of Election: This morning (Saturday) Kim Su Jeong travelled to Ballarat to be presented to Bishop Paul Bird for the Rite of Election, along with other catechumens (unbaptised) and candidates (baptised Christians) from the Diocese. Facing the Truth: Information about the Inquiry into the handling of child abuse by religious and other organisations is available at www.facingthetruth.org.au Memorial Mass: This Friday: Mass for Brian Gunnulson RIP at 11.00am.
