What is Pueblo SacBe ?

Pueblo SacBe is a conscious community growing in the jungle between Mother Earth and the
Caribbean sea. Our collective dream is to create community in a safe and respectful environment, encouraging awareness of our globe and harmony in our lives. Our focus is on creating an intentional village that functions within the laws of nature and becomes sustainable with the ingenuity of the villagers and the abundant local resources. The SacBe Team, Sacbe Village and Grupo Entorno, are committed to the project and our goal is to draw like minded people to share this tapestry of dreams. Located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico, Pueblo SacBe is the name given to a sustainable community being developed 8 kilometers northwest of the city center and within the city limits of Playa del Carmen. It covers a total area of 54.25 hectares (134 acres). The property is situated 2 kilometers inland from federal highway No. 307, running from Cancun to Playa del Carmen along the Riviera Maya coastline and 5 kilometers from the outstanding beaches of the Caribbean. The company is incorporated under the laws of Mexico, and is comprised of 9 shareholders. Grupo Entorno , a well respected company in Mexico, has entered into an agreement with Sacbe to complete the required infrastructure. With our offices located In Playa del Carmen, we have been running our business since 1998, and have been operating since that time. Apart from word of mouth and our webpage we used very little advertising, even though our development is well known in several medias.

Pueblo SacBe assets include an amphitheater, services tower, natural swimming pool, roads, security stations, five parks, solar and wind energy equipment, etc.

The following Google Earth maps will show the surrounding area of Pueblo Sacbe, and many of the new roads and facilities that have been built nearby, including a large Sports Center, two universities, a four lane road to the Highway 307 , the Municipal yard , new hospital and the Las Americas Shopping Mall. The first shows where the facilities are in reference to SacBe and the second map shows our accepted proposal to the Municipality to change the entrance to Pueblo SacBe. There exists a 50 meter right of way which is a planned avenue along the western border of the Guadalupana. We are building the road as our donation requirement and planting Neem trees, palms and a beautiful Mexican variety of bamboo , Otatea, which we will plant as a hedge between the sub-division and the new entrance road.
