Tomato markets will see a rise during the coming week; with a chance for moderate increases in the following 1 2 weeks through Mid-March due to a decrease in volume from the Mexico and Florida growing regions. Florida has an expected reduction in volume during late-Feb that is being exacerbated by colder than normal temperatures over that past week.

Red Globes and Black Grapes are available. Quality and volume are fine. Historically, Cantaloupe volumes are lighter as Honduras winds down and Guatemala is starting. Smaller sizes are limited. Honeydew markets are steady and quality and consistency is better. Supplies are tight as product arrives from Honduras and Mexico. Mexico is 40% lighter in volume than previous years. Quality is fair on seeded and seedless. Bosc, Anjou and Bartlett varieties are coming from Washington. Markets are stable with quality fruit. Supplies are consistent with good quality. Brix has been averaging 13% with average internal gold color.
