To enrol, participants must have: Recently completed or currently be completing a relevant university degree related to the internship field Upper-intermediate English skills of General IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (TOEFL: IBT 79-80/ CBT 213/ PBT 550) unless you are a native English speaker A successful study history The eligibility to apply for a suitable visa
When can I start my internship? Navitas Professional requires candidates to submit their application four months before intended commencement. This enables us to assess your eligibility for the program, confirm a suitable placement and develop a training plan with the host organisation. Are internships paid or unpaid? Internship placements in Australia aregenerally unpaid. The primary goal of an internship placement is to gain practical experience in your chosen profession as part of a training program. Will there be a list of host companies to choose from? Internship Coordinators will process your application and liaise with you to match the best host company to your profile. Navitas will select a host company and you will be offered an interview for a placement with that company. How do I apply for the Navitas Professional Internship Program? Certified copy of IELTS test results (taken within the last 2 years) 7. Resume/CV detailing study and work experience 8. Any additional certificates, awards or information you wish to present to your potential internship company 9. Cover letter outlining the objectives you would like to achieve from your placement *All documents that are not in English, must be professionally translated. What will the program cost? Fees & Charges Visa and Internship Program cost = AU$ 5,450.00 This fee is inclusive of Australian government visa charges, internship program and immigration assistance fees. Payments are made in two installments: 1. Visa & Application Fee: AU$1,850 payable upon acceptance into the internship program. 2. Internship Program Fee: AU$3,600 second installment payable at least 2 weeks before commencement of internship program. Refunds Visa & Application Fee A refund of AU$850 is available if you do not proceed with your internship offer and your visa application has already been lodged.
